Since 2015 we have witnessed what the lack of a legal vetting system has wrought for the American people. Every candidate should be required, at a minimum, to pass a governmental security clearance, release 10 years of taxes and pass a civics test PRIOR to declaring their candidacy. With nothing positive to offer, attacking Harris is literally the only tool in the box, and with Trump and Vance, that's going to take the form of racism and misogyny.
