If I may suggest: all your gas struts should be located "Rod Down" for proper seal lubrification purpose.

Hey guys, would you ever consider building out a family van conversion? Would be really great to see more family vans that actually think about the sleeping arrangements (eg kids not sleeping in your bed). We were thinking for a family of 4 in a long wheelbase you could have two single beds as tall as you would make the double fixed bed at the back of the van with a walkway between the two beds and a panel that can slot into the middle to make it a large double or a third single if your kids friend come on the trip too. This back bit is walled off with an arch in the middle and the wall is sound proofed as much as possible. So when the kids go to bed they have a balckout space with some sound proofing while the adults still stay up in the fron part of the van. On the sliding door side you have a kitchen and on the opposite side you have a dinet that incorporates at least 2 more belted seats. This dinet will convert into a double bed for the grown ups when they go to bed. Shower pan can be hidden under the floorboards near the sink tap with hooks on the ceiling to use a shower curtain so no need to take up space for a bathroom. Not thought to much about the rest of it but essentially there are not many family conversions out there that really think about sleep arrangements and space around tables for good quality family time even on rainy days.
