Visited the castle this time last yr, same weather , but still a beautiful sight. Halfway down realized back up again will be a workout. Thank goodness for the benches along the way.

Thank you for sharing 😊 Beautiful area ❤🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 We walked to the castle in 2021and throughly enjoyed it. We didn't have our go pro then so didn't really get much footage so we definitely need to go back and do some filming 😊 Some stunning views Hope you are well and having a good week 😊

It’s an spectacular castle and location. The walk between Stonehaven and the castle is beautiful. Also, the C&L kiosk beside the car park has got the best hot dog I’ve ever tasted 😊

It's quite a walk from Stonehaven, but well worth it.

We wanted to visit Dunnottar but didn't have enough time to drive up the east coast and still make it to everything on the west coast we wanted to see. If we ever make it back over, the east coast will definitely be on our itinerary.

@OldHouseOnTheCorner It is worth a visit, we do go there quite often. Quite a walk down to it though!
