I had a similar issue when I use to use a idle adjuster. I went back to stock idle and still happened. I reset the ecu and before turning it on, I fully backed the idle screw out and then turned it two full rotations in making it back to stock and it worked. I got that information from the Haynes manual

That gremlin you have seems like a wire grounding out intermittently. You said you changed the coil just make sure there are no loose wires or frayed wires

Hey man, unless you installed an aftermarket idle adjuster, the from does not come stock with one, if you are messing with a screw on the throttle body like people commonly do thinking it’s the adjuster, you need to set it back to where it was, it causes a vacuum leak and therefore a bog or lean tune

I’m trying to sell my 170 4V grom, how tf did you find someone to buy yours so fast? Mines built AF and runs like a champ but I can’t find anyone who actually wants a built one tight now 😂
