The league isn't gonna always allow you to be the best version of yourself, especially if you're walking into a situation that has already achieved success BEFORE you. Shabazz is living his best life in Italy. He gets paid and travel the world. Players overseas make good money, they receive free housing, a car, some receive personal chefs, and they don't pay an exboriate amount of taxes. Josh Childress who chose a euro league contract over the NBA wrote an article about the advantages of playing overseas. NBA players play 82 games, compared to maybe 40, they pay a manager, agent, bookkeeper, they have to pay taxes in every state they play in (except Texas). Now they have added paying penalties for flagrant fouls. If you don't have a huge contract, you could walk away from the NBA broke.

He was measured at 5'11 barefoot and 6'3.5 wingapan, plus he has a long neck and long head, which means his shoulders are lower than normal. Hes too undersized to be a starting pg, unless he is a elite shooter and much more athletic. Not many people of his size lasted long in the nba.
