Yeah, in the nets he could hide behind kd, in phily he could just throw the ball to embiid. The clips literally have nobody anymore to cover him in D and in offense like kawhi is better than him period, pg is a better all around player than him period and the 6th man/role player is already given to russ ... It's legit the worst trade in nba history. Like this trade straight up says "Look we are the clippers we're exciting right ? Buy tickets so that you can visit our new place ! *wink* *wink*". They're gonna be swept and explode next year leaving nothing to build on hahaha. I can't wait to see houston cook them and then harden wanting to back there XD.

Bad trade indeed,I was surprised the-CLIPS-wanted him at all. Harden is all about Harden. Period.Plus,there're just not enough shots for these ball dominate players-George,Kawi,Harden and Westbrook. Somebodys gonna have to come off the bench,I suggest-HARDEN. LOL.

Even if you put him as the 6th man what is he going to do ? Spoiler neither will happen.

@alooney8299now you have to give Westbrook some credit, he’s fell more into a role the last few seasons and played well. It's mind boggling why the clippers made this trade. They had the leverage and could of waited or not made the trade at all. They must of been desperate because no other team wanted Harden. The 76ers eventually would of had to play harden or buyout the remainder of his contract. Adding James harden turned the clippers into a play in tournament team.

If he could ever fully let go of the Houston version of himself, and fully create for everybody, I think he’d have a chance at a ring.

I think it's interesting to compare Harden to the only other guy to win both MVP and 6th Man of the year: Bill Walton. Walton peaked early then his career got derailed by injuries. But he acknowleged that he was no longer an elite player, worked hard to give his teams what they needed out of a semi-washed player, and ended up winning 6th man on a Celtics Team that also won the championship. Harden could learn a lot from Walton; might even help him extend his career.

Videos a lil early ngl, it’s only been 4 games. But, the clippers have way bigger problems than Harden. They’ve been a middle of the pact team since PG and Kawhi came together. They haven’t added anything with a glimpse of future success. They have tried to take the easy way out and make a super team, lost all their young talent and shot themselves in the foot. A lot like the Nets even before they made the Harden trade.

Despite Harden being a career choke artist, I think it’s way too early to judge this. The level of talent on that team is inevitably capable of figuring things out. The issue is the unnatural fit and the lack of proper shooting depth and proper role players to fit into what they need. If Harden can take a page out of Westbrook’s Clipper diary, I think they can still be a conference finals team. All that said, impossible to imagine this team winning a championship so inevitably, you’re pretty much correct. This is a loss lol.

Well, he actually wasn't bad for the Sixers last year. Led the league in assist and scored over 20 a game on about 43% shooting. But, as always, he chocked in the playoffs. He should have bit the bullet and worked out a deal with the Sixers. He's not the player he was 4 or 5 years ago for sure and it looks like the Sixers are better off without him and the Clippers are worst off with him. But Steve Balmer is the leagues richest owner. He has money to burn.

Harden played his best brand of basketball last year in Philly, led the league in assist while moving to the 3rd scoring option to Maxey to let him thrive..However since his Houston days the league has bowed to James harden. Him and embiid flatout did not show up to close out the Celtics and they were allowed to scapegoat doc and the teammates even though they showed up. Harden moving to the clippers is safe. Because they won’t single harden out as they have 4 stars and not just him. It’s a terrible trade as they have no size and no perimeter defense Paul George is their backup big 🤦🏾♂️… Phillies next stunted growth will be embiid if he doesn’t show up in these playoffs

Harden need to go back to his “OKC” days. I don’t think he’s the creator(scoring and playmaker) he once was. This team leaning too much on him to perform like his Houston and early Brooklyn days. Sliding Harden to the 2 will help this team a lot. Idk why when he was playing with the 76ers he didn’t relearn how to play off the ball with Maxey. He’s living in his EGO and PRIDE
@jets4687 Жыл бұрын
For sure his biggest problem is his ego 100 percent! Dude won't be part of a system because he thinks he's still the man..Iverson went through a very similar storyline at the end of his career as well.. sad cuz these guys could extend their careers by a few years if they'd learn to be a role player towards the end instead of remaining with the notion they're still a superstar.

It’s not that he isn’t, it’s just not what the clippers need, he’s easily still be dropping 37 7 and 8, But it’s stupid for him to play like that for the clippers, he slows the pace when it’s already slowed down cuz of PG and Kawhi

I really dislike or don't like JH at all, but since we are on the subject, it isn't accurate when you quote by saying - "I am 'THE' system". I believe JH's exact words are "I am 'A' system". In context this makes a huge difference. With the literal quote, JH/he is implying that his creativity on the court can be an alternative to the system if the situation fits(say for broken plays as an example), and that maybe the coach should work with him when it comes to the offense. With you're quote; you are implying that JH suggested that the clippers offense should solely revolve around him. As I said, I am not an JH fan since he is the main reason why the Nets big 3 was broken, but I would rather be accurate than injecting narratives.
