@@fun364 because one has something to do with basketball, and one does not. If you do enough research on your sports heroes, you will often find they are disappointing people, often when relating to sex or family. You can bash Larry Bird for abandoning his daughter. You can criticize Julius Erving to allow his sons to wind up alcoholics and drug addicts. You can spend all day putting people in the dirt for their mistakes. But then you wouldn't have much of a Hall of Fame. If you want to evaporate Malone's basketball stats, then you might as well wipe out Stocktons since they were all associated with Karl. And I guess you take away two of Jordan's titles, because they happened against Karl....

Even if the NCAA doesn't want to pay players directly, they should be able to profit from their own nam and likeness. To forbid them for m doing so is the real in america injustice. I applaud Webber for getting paid ASAP. Webber's merits as an individual player clearly merritt being in the HOF. And he'd be in there already if he spent his prime playing for better franchises than Washington and Sacramento. Sacramento got robbed in the 2002 playoffs. They outplayed the Lakers. And as a young basketball fan, that was the first series in which I recognized an officiating bias against the less popular team.

He had good seasons in the NBA but nothing that really stood out like the winning the scoring title, MVP, leading the league in FG % or leading his team to a championship. Just being an all star isn’t good enough to get into the HOF. Damn I miss the NBA from the 90’s.

Same thing I've been saying Kings could have been NBA champions that year and 2003, when the Kings got robbed in 2002, didn't watch the NBA Finals.

Him and Jalen fell out after he lied on Ed Martin! As far as the doc, C-Webb didn’t want to be a part of it. Don’t be made at someone else telling your narrative when you had the opportunity to share your autobiography.

@@KyleSee are you sure? I remember when he got drafted in him being compared to Ginobili was never brought up that night are ever. But he was nice it sucks injuries ended his career early. Did lead the league in total assists once. So kind of like ginobili but without the quickness and scoring ability

I have to add another comment, and I can’t help myself for feeling very deeply for Chris Webber. Imagine an entire era of YOUR life that is not even acknowledged after everything that the NCAA did to exploit him, his teammates, and countless other student-athletes that have made them all BILLIONAIRES!!

Jalen Rose would never get into the HOF even with his college career. His NBA career was mediocre. So no argument.

There was also two other things that stunted Chris Webber: 1.his feud with Don Nelson 2.his troubles when he was traded to Washington....had Webber not feuded with Don Nelson and not have many injuries he could’ve won an NBA titles and been a multi time all star....

It's the basketball HOF. It's crazy that he isn't in it..Webber was ahead of the game..his ability at the 4, man, outside of injuries is up there with the elite..His commentary is trash though.. even without college his HS accomplishments, NBA accomplishments are enough.. the Timeout was crazy, but he traveled 1st. Always wondered how him and shaq would've worked together, their skill sets matched..
