Chuck Norris had a holster. It’s a loop style quick draw holster, and he was using it FBI style at 5oclock. The holster is essentially a regular holster with all of the extra leather cut away, it’s mostly as secure but has much less friction when drawn. Lots of Texans like them because they show off the expensive gun, collect less sweat or grime, draw faster, and are less bulky when the gun isn’t I it, so you can just leave the holster loop on your belt always… The “FBI style” refers to the position and “cant” of the firearm, meaning it’s tilted slightly forward for a faster and smoother draw. If you go back and look, you’ll see the styled leather holster holding the gun. It’s very chuck norris… kinda understated stylish, oldschool and very Texas.

6:18 I love how whoever edited this video put an example of what Niko was saying about using your shots in a way that better conveys the moves in the screen, showing a fight and how the different ways the shots are used emphasize the kinetic energy of the stuntmen, but also using the cut from the punch from one of the fighters to Wren sitting to show that same “feel” of the movement. Masterful editing.

Chaplin did some crazy stunts, so a lot of stuntmen and stunt-fans know of his work. I'm not surprised it was referenced. Heck, John Wick 2 has a Chaplin reference at the start of the film. There's like actual Chaplin footage being projected on the side of a building randomly, lol. Edit: It might have been Buster Keaton footage in the beginning of John Wick 2, now that I think about it, but the overall point is still the same, lol. They both did a lot of crazy stunts back in the day at a time when there was barely any safety and you couldn't fake stuff as much/as easily, and are still highly revered by modern day stunt performers.

@@NoirTech83 I agree, his age was definitely a factor. I'd expect almost everything his double did, he was probably able to do at one time. But, by the time the show started, he was over 50 yrs old. Between the danger of injury, and the number of takes that might be required to get the shot right, they likely restricted him from even attempting much besides the basic moves. There is this crazy scene with a panoramic hot air balloon at the beginning of a movie called Enduring Love (2004) and I can't determine weather it is a special effects/green screen combination (because if it is, it's an amazing one!) or a practical stunt (because if it is, it is an AMAZING one!!!). It is in the first 6 minutes of the film. A man falls off of a rope hanging off of a balloon while in mid air. the shot cuts off just before he hits the ground but the whole scene is done so well (you can see his face and whole body as it falls and his shadow as he gets closer to the ground - the point of impact).
