I’m just glad we have visual effects now because some of those stunts back in the golden age and even the silver age of movies were brutal to the horses. Like the full gallop and then trip lining them. So brutal. To be fair to the golden age stuntman and actors they also did brutal stunts but man those horses.

Tenet has some crazy action shots in the climax that really sells the forward and backward travel of time. It has to be my favorite scene from any movie I’ve seen in the las ten years. I love the shot when they blow up a building backwards in time and then forwards in a different part of the building. It’s insane.
@aidanrogers44383 жыл бұрын
*SPOILERS FOR TENET* The hallway fight scene between the Protagonist and his inversed self was also well choreographed, they actually had to plan how to perform it in rehearsals to make it sell the inversion of one of them.

And yes I would like one more season.

The highway scene had me on edge in theaters. None of my friends or family saw it in the same light. I don't know what they were expecting, but the action was vastly underappreciated, that much I remember.

Please react to "Tora! Tora! Tora!" on stunt men react, specifically the scene where the plane goes down the runway and crashes into the crew since that wasn't faked the plane lost control and blew up! They also have a B-17 bomber land one only 1 big wheel and one small one all done practically. pretty much the whole Pearl Harbor scene has crazy practical effects and stunts.

Regarding "Red Cliff" criticism, for "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" stories and movies, it is as much about the major characters and generals as it is about the grand battles and politics. In the scenes shown here, some of the most storied generals are being shown: Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, and Zhao Yun.
@wren71953 жыл бұрын
And the rest of the movie is the battle of Chi Bi (Red Cliffs), with PM Cao Cao going after the Wu Kingdom's south eastern province, with a young Liu Bei of Shu bringing his group and claim to the throne along with him, as well as the following of the "local man" the farmers and families escaping Cao Cao's "tyranny." They seek help via Lord Bei's brilliant advisor Zhuge Liang, sending him as an emissary to the Kingdom of Wu to ally against Cao Cao. Fans of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms games or Dynasty Warriors might be a bit more confused, but even book fans will find some cinematic changes here and there (it's folklore afterall, despite being genuine military battles that are documented and dated) Overall, I definitely recommend the extended edition subtitled version of Red Cliff to ANYBODY who likes anything ancient Chinese and Lord of the Rings.
