Darn, that shot of Jackie at the top of the building at 14:33 induce such a dread feeling of vertigo, that it perfectly frames the action scene. And it's just a second. Also, the way he falls in his feet, followed by that stammer/stumble... perfect.

I absolutely loved the Rundown! I remember while seeing it thinking, "damn, the Rock is an absolutely enthralling actor, and charismatic as hell". He had a different energy. It wasn't just a "wrestler in a movie", but he actually gave a damn about having some semblance of an acting performance, especially in scenes that revolved around his "no guns" rule.

yeah people overlooked the movie and dismissed it because it wasn't trying to be more than what it was, so apparently that means it's a "low quality movie". in reality, those people that focus only on oscar bait writing, fail to miss all of the other magic that can be done with stunts and choreography.

I agree, Run Down is best movie he's ever starred in. After seeing this movie, I would never have believed how poorly his career has gone from a "making good movies" standpoint. Sure he's stayed busy and made money. But the expectations were for him to be like the next Arnold, and instead he's been a poor mans JCVD. His IMDB compares poorly to Steven Segal's for gods sake. I just saw a stunt fall I couldn't figure out, in The Professionals from 1966, on Netflix. The fall is at 1:42:30. It's not a set, but on location in Death Valley or the Valley of Fire, where some of it was shot. The stunt person rolls at least 40 feet down a slab of rock, right along the edge next to a deep canyon, and then falls off the bottom edge out of sight. I get there was some kind of padding there, but it's an amazing, and amazingly dangerous, stunt. I wondered if you knew about it.

Would love to see you guys review the fan film “Batman: Dead End” not only the choreography and filming of it but the special effects as well. I remember growing up hearing tales of this film being shown at comic cons with ppl lining up to experience it over and over again back in the day.

To see the brains behind some of my favorite scenes in movies tickles me in a way I wasn't expecting. Like his job description could literally be, "I've made some of the coolest shit you've seen in film."

I'd love to see a breakdown of some of the action in The Musketeer from 2001. One of my personal favorites. The early tavern fight, and the ladder fight are great.

I love Andy Cheng. Tanoai Reed (@samoanstuntman) is a beast. Ernie Reyes Jr. is always entertaining to watch. Can you guys get him on the couch? Can you guys react to the scene from Lone Survivor when all 4 of them are falling down the mountain? That one looks especially painful.

It's awesome how Andy was responsible for all these great movie moments just by being himself

You guys should check out the High & Low movies. Specifically the trilogy that has all the huge mob fights in them. There are some INSANE hits, falls, etc in those movies.

Have you covered any of the fights in the High&Low films yet? The camera movement during the first big fight in High&Low: The Worst is possibly the best I've ever seen.

Jackie Chan movies and the like where the reason I got into martial arts as a kid, I thought it looked like fun and was pretty cool, but funny enough it was the outtakes and behind the scenes that were at the end of a lot of Jackie Chan and other Hong Kong action films that really got fired up
