Mine was dyno'd 335bhp standard, and then remapped to 411bhp. I then had a 200 cell Wagner sports cat and further remap to make 455bhp/634nm, and it took many runs, and lots of letting it cool between runs to get that. With a Tu HPFP my tuner said it might make 470-480 but no more on 99ron fuel. Not a chance this is 500. Lets assume this is 475bhp, it's still a lot, and it looks like standard brake discs. Oh dear, I found them lacking at 455bhp and had dimpled and grooved discs fitted all round. Add a Pure800 turbo and this car might be 540-550 bhp on 99ron. Needs meth to make 600. I enjoyed my 4 years with the M140i, but at the end of the day, it's a 118i m sport chassis with a mega engine and box. I now have an OG M2, completely standard, and it is on another level completely. Not as fast in a straight line, but who cares about straight line racing, that is for plebs and posers. This car could have 900bhp and it still wouldn't see which way my M2 went on a twisty b road 🙂

Tbh the car was fast, definitely over 450 imho. Understand with this specific tuner and on the tuners dyno, cars can achieve this magical 500hp. If this has been verified on another roller like JKMs or SRR is unknown as in the south of the UK, these 2 places are renowned for being “heart breakers” in terms of dyno runs. But like you say, M lite cars will never compare to a full fat M car.

@@wavvyboost No B58 engine, with just a downpipe and a remap, can get more than 480 bhp on standard 99ron fuel, it's just not scientifically possible matey. This fact has actually been proven on videos by people who really know what they are talking about. An engine is basically an air pump, and when you calculate the potential torque possible from the size of the bores, to the amount of air you can get in & out of them, the amount of boost a standard turbo add, the fuelling and the limitations of all parts, there is a maximum theoretical average, and for a totally standard engine, this is between 410 and 420 bhp (there are obviously some variations that occur naturally). It is sooooo easy to manipulate that figure by 1) letting the car ride the dyno rollers which can add around 15%-20% to the torque figure, 2) putting the ambient air temp sensor for the dyno in a hotter place adding another gain, or 3) using a slightly different conversion rate, when calculating the bhp figure from the torque reading. I watched a guy prove this by remapping an M140i and on his dyno it made over 500bhp ..... from just a remap lol. We both know that is not possible, but he has a dyno print out to 'prove' it lol.

@@Poontang123 You shouldn't assume such things, it makes you sound like a troll. I wrote the car off, and used the insurance money to buy an even better car, an OG M2. I worked in the motor trade for many years, and owned 6 BMW's in my last 7 cars, most of them tuned, so I am far from a 'snob'.

I'm 463bhp with a high flow 200 cell cat, Bosch B58TU HPFP, xhp stage 3 flash, turbo and manifold blankets. And last but not least the tune is by Litchfield. A friend has a M340i 500bhp by a different tuner, once moving I gap him 😂😂😮

500bhp on pump fuel 🤣🤣🤣 they have had your pants down at WG if that’s what they are claiming, take it to unicorn or performance-m in Manchester for a dyno run and it will never make that. What’s the 100-200kph times? I know it’s Paul’s software from RS tuning and he loves to extravagant his figures! I would know as I had his software until I dragy’d it and knew I’d been fobbed off 😠

Warren sent me screen shots of the logs after tuning both 2+ cars. It’s not as strong as Bens. Still waiting for these ‘500’ brake WG cars to do 6s on pump fuel. Lend them your dragy and let’s see if they can get under a 7.20

@@md1_marky do my research? Since when is your car stock turbo mark? I know your car is an animal I’m not on about yours. Yours stage 3, I’m talking about stock turbo times. It’s physically impossible for the stock turbo to hit 500 bhp on pump fuel as it just doesn’t have the efficiency to flow that high top end. It dies off big time at 5k rpm when the turbo dies off on OEM turbo. I don’t need to do my research lad I had the fastest dragy times at stage 2 and stage 2+ for over a year whilst all the other tuners played catch up 😘 I know enough knowledge as it is and don’t need to do any more to know that a stock turbo ain’t hitting 500bhp on pump fuel 🤣🤣 Anyone else who believes this is deluded and dragy will speak for its self. It’s on Paul Murray’s software what WG use on the stage 1, 2 and 2+ files and I’ve had his software it’s absolutely never in a million years hitting 500bhp 🤣🤣🤣 He faked me with his dyno and dragy exposed that. Then he was bitter as fuck about it and never gave me an explanation as to why it was slower than my previous map which made less power on his dyno 🤣🤣 shit fake software and dyno. 💩 This is the same software as WG use.
