C&W was always my folks music.. I went along with it whilst young then moved away. Sturgill blew me away when I found him on Netflix (yay Netflix) I have since listened to all his albums and have Sound and Fury on perpetual playback in my head. Beyond awesome.. C&W come good again. Loving it. Beyond awesome.

What I love about sturgill he was playing different contry songs. It was pure and cowboy style. Every time I go for hiking or some contry road I still listening to sturgill. But he had chosen the different path. I wish you success sturgill. You are badass

Hey Sturgill. If you see this man, I see the same influences you and I both must have grown up with in Kentucky music. That may sound off for some thinking "Kentucky" music was only some bluegrass band. NO, no no on the contrary. If you had a good network of friends in music you could find anything and hear everything. Tompall Glasser and Merle Haggard to Country Joe and Jimmy Hendrix. Then pile on a bunch of things from Bowling Alley Juke Boxes with just about any mix tape your buds put together. You could have heard Acid Country with Alice Cooper being played on a Banjo. You could have heard your cousin banging on an Acoustic with Johnny Cash while not being able to get Motley Crue songs out of his head. Kentucky has a sound as mixed as it gets. Strum on man. Now pull out some old Trucker sounds with that modern synthwave revival.
