I suffer with motion sickness, which really kicked in when I bought my first VR headset. So I researched and purchased some ginger biscuits and ginger beer. This actually helped. In fact food/drink products that contain ginger have definitely reduced/removed my motion sickness.

I mentioned that in this episode - ginger beer really helps! Another thing that helps is chewing. Try chewing gum whilst playing VR and I find that helps me play longer before the devils takes over my body.

@StusReviewsUK thanks. I was gradually able to ween myself onto longer and longer vr sessions until it stopped being an issue unless I did something silly like spend 5 hours in no man's sky. Being a passenger still requires a biscuit or two.

The only way to test this wouldn't be to do the same activity with and without the device as that wouldn't account for the placebo effect. The way to account for that would be to wear something throughout numerous activities, but for only a neutral person to know whether or not the device was "active" at any time; i.e. sometimes wearing a functioning device and sometimes wearing a dead/dummy device, but for you not to know which it is. That would be a truer test of efficacy.

Yeah absolutely. I'd need say 10-20 people, all on the same coaster, some with a working model, some without, and some without knowing the functionality of the device and its purpose (to remove the placebo effect). Unfortunately, renting a rollercoaster and 20 paid individuals was a bit out of my budget for this one 😂 , so gave the conclusions based on my personal experience so far - which as i mentioned... is inconclusive!

Hi Stu, I have really bad motion sickness, have done since a baby mainly cars, boats and trains, Ive heard it's to do with the inner ear? Motion sickness pills don't work, throw them up or hallucinate neither do copper bracelets, might give this a try if it works for u? 🤞can leave the sickness bags at home finally lol x

Have you ever tried the bracelets with pressure points on the wrists? My kid also gets sick in the car when not using them (sometimes forgets them and gets sick) but never gets sick when wearing them. No exactly sure how/why they work but they do seem to work and are a hell of a lot cheaper.

It’s a controversial product sure but you hit the nail on the head if it works for some people who’s to shoot it down 🤷‍♂️ so long as people understand the thin nature of the science behind it.

There is one extremely thorough way to test it - go on a cruise 🛳🚢 I tried those white glasses this year on a bus. Definitely didn't work 🤢
