A fantastic first trip to Panama with Panafishing. panafishing.com... Targeting rooster and cubera fish. Hectic action on both top-water and jigging with some very nice fish caught. We even survived when caught up in the middle of a bad thunderstorm!

Hi Andrea Temple reef 77H for heavier popping 80lbs tuf xp braid with 6500 Daiwa dogfight. Lighter rod saltywater mastro 120g. With 5000 Daiwa Saltiga 65lbs braid power pro. Cheers

Awesome video! What is that temple reef rod that was featured in the video? I'm considering getting something similar and would like to know your thoughts on the rod. Hoping to find something that can effectively work stick baits and smaller cupped poppers like the FCL

Temple reef rod was reefer 711 used for heaver popping. For lighter lures used SaltyWater tackle Maestro em 77H both really nice rods

Man the content and fishing is lit as always 🔥🔥. I noticed you were using a saltiga 6500z DF at one point. I'm guessing you swapped out the drag washers to carbon ones right? Could you recommend where to get replacements, and what thickness each drag washer was if you know? and one last question, to grease or not to grease the washers, and if so, which grease? I just got home a week ago from some amazing fishing at Panafishing lodge caught four yellowtail snapper, one Amberjack, 3 Red Snappers, two Roosterfish one of them was 30 kilos, and a lot of Tuna, and i dropped a 30+ kilo Cubera under the boat and missed two Mahi Mahi one of them was a giant and i also missed a big Wahoo, i’ll be back for those Cubera Snappers one day. 😎🎣

demain05 i bring my own gear like reels, terminal tackle, fishing tools and lures, but i rented 3 rods down there for 30$/day and my trip cost’s 2900$ not included Internationl Flights.
