Gyrocopter through the Eastern English Lake District

An autumnal flight from magnificent Berrier in the NE English Lake District routing southbound over Ullswater, Haweswater then via the Gatescarth Pass to beautiful Longsleddale, then Windermere (where an RAF Typhoon in D-Day colours passes beneath us routing low-level northbound), and finally landing at Sleap in Shropshire. Cockpit audio only included for the landing.

As a long-term motorcyclist when I got older and bought bikes that a rider sits more upright I found I had to apply paint the inside top edge of my visor to keep the sun out of my eyes. Which was particularly useful for dawn and dusk (in Australia where the sun climbs a lot higher). It was also useful for night riding when oncoming high beams weren't always dimmed. Vision was otherwise good as we tend to concentrate harder on the road surface than do most road users. Reason: always held the belief that each direct contact, sun to the retina, will adversely affect our vision.
