You have already started your 2020 goal! Thanks for your insight. Playing on beat is one of my pet peeves from other VJs as well. You are literally controlling your crowd, guide them, ride the music like a surfer on a wave, cut it up but keep the flow for your viewers! -=(V)=-

Very well put @(V)iSTRFiNGA! We are surfing on the music, always looking for the next musical wave to ride on )) Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience. Yes, I'm starting the year in full power with something that I wanted to do for so long. Hopefully will make the time to record more of these. Let's make it an outstanding year of visual expression 👁💨

Nice, i actually dont care to repeat the loops during the show cos everybody is not looking at the same thing all the time, what i do is to mixing it different than the time before. Specially when i got those company parties where they want to see the pictures of the employees all night long but they gave you only 20 pics... my experience playing too bright was a little funny, that was when i have for the first time and obey40 dmx, and my boss told me this, keep the brightness the lowest possible, people are drunk/high pupils are open, lights bother. And the follow on beat, ive seen that those vjs who dont do it are the ones who vjing only because is their job (just operators), and not the vj who loves being vj. Thanks for the feedback :)

Other than what I noted here I would say try to have fun. When you're enjoying the crowd can sense it. To enjoy your show you gotta prepare well beforehand - play a DJ set and visualize it, over and over again - untill you start to get awesome moments of music and visuals in harmony. Then get more and more of these moments 🤓 Good luck and... Amaze them!

Hello STV world, please how do I project black screen instead of WINDOWS SCREEN projecting on the screen in event of a break or technical issues? In other words, how do I avoid windows screen projecting when resolume stops playing?
@STVinMotion4 жыл бұрын
Hello Babayo! You should set your desktop background to black. Right click the desktop and choose "personalize", then in the Background tab choose a Solid color and Black. This way you will have darkness instead of showing you desktop wallpaper. Another step could be setting your Lock screen tab to picture and upload a black .jpg image - so in case you will need to restart and login to the computer - your login will be a black background and not some fancy login image. I hope this helps, I always have two computers and a mixer/switcher so if one fails I can swiftly change to the one that still functions. Hope this helps!
