I was there... It was suppose to be Undertaker vs Mable also Shawn Michaels vs Dean Douglas since Taker & HBk are hurt. Why they didn't book Bret for the PPV yeah he wrestled in dark match having Bret vs Lawler would done good. Also that afternoon I got to meet all the guys including Vince and his agents it was a cool experience I'll never forget

That noon, on the 22nd. My lil brother(7), and I(13) were coming back from Polo Park mall Safeway (to grab film for the camera for that night), we were walking up Empress St walking back home and notice all the wrestlers arriving at the Arena and told lil bro let's stay for a bit...lucky we did We missed Bret & Dustin and Sparky Plug going inside Wpg Arena. 10 min later all talent arriving for rehearsals and that's when Vince along with Bruce, Brisco, Gorilla, JR, the Kliq, BSK, King & future Kane arriving at the parking lot, talked brief with Vince and thank him for bringing WWF to town "We lost our hockey team The Winnipeg Jets, (that year) this will cheer some of us," he asked ("going tonight?") told him "why we got film!" Cool moment ever! This is way before they went tight on that keep away distance rule.

this ppv went to hell after Shawn was attacked in Syracuse. It was over before it began. I think the only positive thing was Dustin Rhodes debuting as Goldust. It seems like if there was a problem over the WWE Interconential Championship, Razor Ramon was the safe choice. Who knows how long Razor and Dean had to plan out the match. From the looks of it, it was like they were planning on it on the fly. That doesnt look good when its obvious there is no chemistry. Razor didnt like Dean I think cause he was the one that held the belt after Shawn was attacked. Razor was probably pissed cause he had to work 2 matches in 1 night.

Shawn Michaels was beat up and knocked out by Army Corporal Douglas Griffith stationed at Fort Drum. Davey Boy was too high to do anything but decades later we still can't quite admit it. Shawn Michaels is 0 for life in fights. Shawn's special skill was his ability to sweet talk other guys into being his bodyguards. He would stir things up in bars and then hide behind someone else if there was a problem. The stuff about nobody remembering what happened is BS for marks. One guy was charged: Douglas Griffith. After the incident when they got back to the hotel, Shawn's #1 priority was sending Davey Boy to fetch Sunny out of her boyfriend Chris Candido's room to "nurse" him. How injured he actually was is anyones guess. There was no heat on Shawn after. He was sent off on vacation getaway to "recover". His injuries were so severe that the only way to treat them was with heavy partying.
