Same here, I start listening to STWW, while just chilling sometimes playing video games, other times when working (as it both makes the work day more enjoyable, along with making the day go by quicker), sometimes I even listen/watch while kicking it with a friend or two and/or my brother (yes he's obviously a friend too no duh lol). I've lately actually been smoking while listening as i'll blaze an L or a bowl/bong cap while. If anyone smokes weed you should do so. Not only does it make the show better in almost every way (stimulates the mind and at least for me allows me to more in depth dive into the topic(s) at hand, also heightens the humorous aspects of the show, among a few other perks smoking while watching/listening brings). Also it is just simply relaxing as fuck lol.

It's just gets boring talking about matches. Half the time they end up doing a mini "profile " on a wrestler anyway so why not just do a full profile on a guy like Booker t or the road warriors for exmaple.

I don't follow the WWE on a weekly basis but I have been listening to these podcasts and I can see how Jim Ross could be difficult to work around. Especially with the business focusing more on "entertainment" aspect rather than say Jim's "NCAA 4-sport star athlete" approach. But just hearing Jim on the air here, i couldn't imagine how he would be behind the scenes. He got too big for his boots?

This was a great podcast. JR had a 26 year relationsihp with WWE full of ups and downs. Dr. Heiney I think rubbed people the wrong way cause that was the last image we had. IF it was at the halfway point or in the beginning, it wouldnt have the backlash that it did. Fans will always remember 1998-2008 of WWE as JR and King calling some of the best moments and their chemistry. The fans didn't want to look at JR as a heel. Let's be real. When he made Cole sing the star spangled banner, the fans cheered instead of booing.

Jim Ross is arguably the greatest wrestling play by play commentator of all time. It’s a shame that the WWE always made him the brunt of ridiculous story lines. They got the job done (making us hate whoever was attacking JR at the time, verbally or physically). However, I just never had any interest in him being involved in story lines. The Monday’s without JR have turned bland and boring, with the exception of Graves. Michael Cole can’t hold Jim Ross’s jock let alone his seat. Why someone ever thought Cole would make a great lead commentator is beyond me. Anyway, thank you for the countless memories JR. I plan to watch AEW just to hear you back at it. We’re forever grateful!

I never cared for Lord Alfred Hayes it felt he ever had a grip on what was going on with the business at any current moment. He butchered guys names and wasn’t just the British thing but would always screw up tag team names calling one guy the others name (see Rockers vs Demolition 1989 match). There was also a creep factor to him, maybe a Jimmy Saville thing, not making any claims just asking questions. Just got that vibe. Also he would drone on and on about a nothing small issue throughout a match while the action was red hot.
