¡ Dope ! Your long anticipated video is here. Looking sharp is important and says a lot about your character. The unique way you loop your belt through the two front belt loops after the creases meet seamlessly does not go unnoticed. Keep up the amazing work and your originality. My mom is from Mexico herself and has her own opinions or notions of what 'Chicano' is or supposedly is; and that is fine, because I understand her perspective and where she comes from. I'm 1st generation U.S born and consider myself equally and proudly 'Chicano' and 'Mexicano,' as I can fully identify with both experiences and appreciate the uniqueness of both cultures and see how they coincide. Your attention to detail seems to be a time honored relic of the past that you undoubtedly honor and comprehend. As explained in your other video, I grew up in the 90s; and I can attest to the fact that in the 90's (in my opinion), the sloppiness with what should be proper attire took full effect. Your look reminds me of the homeboys who dressed with class back in the 60's to mid 1980's. I don't know what you think about hats, but I think your look would certainly be complimented with a nice fedora or trilby hat. I also concur with you completely on the pant sagging; which for the most part, I've resented, but will admit that in the 90's I did give in to the slouch look for a time unfortunately. Excellent video and great articulation about how to look sharp; dress properly and take sizing into account. Looking forward to your future content and the growth of your channel.

Lunatic, you never fail to amaze me with your comments. First of all, thank you for the major compliment. Not only did you compliment my style, but you also complimented the composure of my videos as well. Thank you for also complimenting my originality. That is a major factor that I am trying my absolute best to bring forward on KZbin. Especially at this time since everyone is receiving there views by copying someone else or just talking chisme(drama). I also would like to congratulate you for proudly representing as a Chicano and Mexicano. The reason this is a big deal to me is because if there is one thing I've noticed about people today, it's that they do not have an identity. They don't know who they are. But you sir, you know who and what you are. I'm a 2nd generation Chicano myself. I am actually surprised that you say that the sloppiness in fashion took place in the 90s. I was thinking that didn't happen until my generation fucked it all up, which I would consider to be around the late 2010's with all these ridiculous clothing brands and trends such as Gucci, Supreme, etcetera. But then again I was born in 2003 so I haven't been around for long. And now I have to thank you once again because you have just given me an idea for a new video. Yes I do like hats. I own 2 Fedoras that were tailored by Garcia Signature Hats. One is a wool Fedora, the other is a Cotton String Fedora. Both with 3 inch brims. Now the main reason as to why I only wear them on occasion is similar to the reason I explained in this video. Anybody can throw on a Fedora to look cool or to look "Cholo/Chicano" but not many people can imitate the hairstyle I have. And that is because it took years to learn how to style my hair. On top of that I also have a widows peak which not many people have. Not only will I be making a video on how I style my hair, but now I will also be making a video on Fedoras. Thank you for that idea. I shamefully admit that I can relate to you on the pants sagging because I actually did sag my pants as well a few times in highschool. I can promise you that my future content will surpass your expectations. And yes, God willing my channel does grow big enough to reach more people so that the culture survives. With all that being said thank you once again, and stay fly my friend.

The best part of your video is where u explain sagging is laim..back in our day it was dressy ,stylish and not gangster. That gangster stuff came later.we dressed not to be cholos but to look dignified and get respect from people and especially the mamacetas.

Very true! A lot of people say i try to dress like a cholo and what not, but I never saw it that way. I just saw it like i have class to my style. And on top of that all the real cholos i know see me like a pretty boy 😂 and women LOVE my style. Women in general love a man who has a nice clean cut style. The way someone dresses has a lot to say about themselves.

hey man came across your channel i’m a puerto rican male, who wears high waisted pants and always tucks in my shirt. I live on the east coast in jersey but it’s sad how this style is considered a gangster culture but yet it looks so clean. Being myself was everything, Over here i’m the only one who dresses the way I do but I really don’t care, I want to the old school style alive

Great knowledge ! Thank u! I'm 60 yrs old , was always creasing Ben's back in the 70s. Never was satisfied with my starching and creasing. I'm 32.30 ...size and flaco,150 ,5,6 ..what size should I get? Again cool video! Proud of newer generations such as yourself. Sagging never was around and we wore Ben's, dickies , 501s,and Oshkosh bygosh overalls with the suspenders to the side, croakersacks,( winos) .my thing was and still is boots with white souls. Ben's always lay perfectly on boots! But with your better knowledge and advice I'll look sweet! Thanks homie 🙏

I've been wondering this for a long time and more than anyone I think you would be the one to know. I've been trying to get 501s like how Eazy-E wears them but for some reason he doesn't have any excess waistband material but the legs are very wide, and I know for a fact they're 501s but I can't seem to find a model of them that look like his. Do you think he just got the waist tailored that way?
@BiggerShirt626
@BiggerShirt626 9 ай бұрын
His 501's most likely fit him that way because he was 5'2. I've noticed that on shorter men their pants always appear that way.

hey bro I got a question I am 5 9 225 pounds my actual waist is about 38 and my actual inseam is 29 I have been getting the Levi 501 shrink to fit 44x30 and when i wear them i dont look as good as my taller homie, I thought maybe 44 was not a big enough size so i bought a pair of 46x30 and I look worse in those. when I started buying 501s last year I was a wearing a 2XL in proclubs and I was buying 501s in 42x30. I started buying 44x30 because I wanted to start wearing 3XL proclubs and i figured a bigger shirt called for bigger jeans but the problem is the 3XL shirt and 44x30 jeans do not look good together i tried tucking in my shirt that didnt look good i left the shirt un tucked that didnt look good the only way to get the 44x30 jeans to look decent on me is to wear a kind of tighter shirt in 2XL but i wear a 3XL and hear is the thing i wear 3XL proclubs with sweat shorts basketball shorts cargo shorts and it looks great with them, got any suggestions am i too short to pull off baggy jeans or do you think losing weight would help or should i wear 2XL with my jeans and 3XL with my shorts. I feel like i only look good in shorts and how am i supposed to be formal if i only look good in shorts or should i go back down to 42x30 and 2XL
@BiggerShirt626
@BiggerShirt626 6 ай бұрын
Thanks for the question my friend. First and foremost if tou are 225lbs of muscle you definitely need to wear a fitted shirt. If you are fat you need to lose weight or turn that fat into muscle. Going to the gym and lifting weight is the best thing you can do for your style, you can ignore all this other shit if you want to. Also its honestly crazy that you say that because I’ve noticed that creased pants and 501s always look better on shorter people than on me. But you’re 5’9 so you’re not that short. Me personally i think you might be struggling to find a good inseam length. I would recommend finding a good length that sits just right on your feet so that the creases drop straight down and never crinkle or fold. No homo but i low key need to see your instagram to see exactly what you’re talking about. Add me @bigshirt626

Yo man, really lovin your videos, I figured you would give the best answer for my question. I’m more of a skinny build 5’10 and about size 30 in the waist, how many sizes up do you recommend I get for a pair of dickies? A lot of the times the pair of pants I get sit funny with the way my legs are skinny and all, especially with my legs making a little more than half my length. With my genetics I also got basically no ass, so from some angles it appears I’m sagging.
@BiggerShirt626
@BiggerShirt626 4 ай бұрын
Yo thank you bro! It all comes down to preference bro. If you want to be able to pleat your pants I would recommend going to either a JCPenny or Macys or somewhere you can go to a fitting room and try on some pants. Try on a size 40 and a size 42. And since you have no ass (pause) Then try getting a good belt that's gonna hold your pants really tight so they don't sag. Hmu on ig if you have more questions because I might not get notified if you reply to me on here @bigshirt626
