Style Hacks Ep. 3: Styling Patterned Pants | Parker York Smith

Hey! Parker York Smith here with ep 3 of our multi-part series on style hacks. Today's video is all about styling patterned pants! One of my favorite pieces to make otherwise basic outfits less basic. They instantly take things up a notch and have you looking a lot more stylish without a lot of effort.
Whether you're someone who likes to dress really boldly or someone who likes to dress a bit more conservative, there are patterned pants that can actually work really well for you.
If you're new to them, I would recommend starting with something in a windowpane plaid or a simple stripe, then work your way up to bolder colors, prints, and patterns. Plaid pants and striped pants are both extremely stylish, so either way works.

Great video! I just went for it and bought my first two pairs a couple of days ago at H&M. I wore a grey and white plaid pair with a black slim fit polo and some drivers, on a date yesterday. I received so many looks from both men and women. I'm definitely going to try out some of the looks shown in this video. Does the shirt always need to be tucked in? Just wondering if there are rules. I’ve just brought a few pairs of the plaid pants for outfits for autumn/winter as I’m doing lots of things with my gorgeous spicy señorita so I want to look stylish, to add I’ve got myself a light grey mens trench overcoat. I wore a few weeks ago a blue pair of plaid trousers with a burgundy shirt and my beautiful little lady said I looked so sexy she couldn’t wait to get me home.
