I felt the same way. It speaks more to an outdoors event. Summer weddings are often outdoors but I think it could use a jacket or wrap on top to make it more formal.

I would just wear that as a day to day dress. Not a wedding dress... Unless it is held in a casual setting, it simply doesnt match.

Love the red formal dress. Agree with other commentor, the polka dot outfit and also the jeans outfit don't seem to fit the dress codes of formal and cocktail respectively. I would like to request that you try on the other outfits that you showed on the hanger. Thanks.

I’m so glad someone is addressing this, because current generations do not understand dressing up. I tend to fancy myself a bit of an Emily Post student. However, my wedding was cocktail attire, and I would have been appalled if someone showed up in jeans. I wonder if these titles mean different things the UK and US?

More than making you feel incredible, black tie/white tie events are extremely formal : think gowns in thick satin or ensemble made out of the finest material , all topped off with your most shiny expensive jewelry. As for the cocktail attire, it just seems to be too casual with the jeans - a high waisted trouser or silk midi skirt would have been more fitting in my opinion
