Style theory idea: does aloe actually heal everything faster? In my household it can moisturize your skin, remove pimples and scars as well as relieve burns. I’m really intrigued about it healing scars, but that may be hard to do. Vaseline is also a similar product. Maybe Vaseline is an easier experiment product?

Theorist Theory: Amy is just Matt’s ghost But hey, that’s just a theory A THEORIST THEORY But fr, I feel like this was a crazy big first ep for Amy to do. Half an hour long, a massive experiment. I mean, the other channels had pretty safe bets. Film Theory did Kung Fu Panda, Game Theory did Poppy Playtime, Food Theory covered spiciness, but I feel like this was a more daunting episode. I love it when Head Editor Dan shows up. 1. I love that he straight up has a title and isn't just Dan, no no no, he is Head Editor Dan. 2. So of the 4 new hosts, Amy was the best transition. 1. She didnt need to announce it. 2. Because she was already semi hosting before in the shorts. She felr more natural since ive had 'episodes" of her. Whixh is something i wish they did with all channles. Eithwr put them into the shorts to introduce, or have had there first few episode mixed in with Matts final episodes. A gradual change instead of a sudden one

Another thing is cost, safety razor is the biggest winner there bc you can buy like 100 blades for about $5 or less and save hundreds of dollars over your lifetime. I think Matt covered that in the first shaving video? I'd have to check again but I'm happy with this transition, you're such a great host!

Yep, that’s accurate. The cost analysis for the lifetime of the safety was about $700, vs all the others which added up to more than $2400 each, including the disposable ‘cheap’ option. Safety razor supremacy has become apparent.

Amy, notice that the "Team oil" and "Team cream" have a very clear distinction, Team Oil have darker skin tones and Team Cream have clear skin tones. Perhaps the better "after shave feeling" with Oil and Cream has to do with Skin type too, you could dig into that in the future...

This is actually more to do with hair rather than skin! Darker complexions usually come with thicker and more coarse hair, which heavily affects shaving. ^^

Try using soup with cream. Like dove or nivea. It's the best of the two worlds. Smooth, does not wash off too easilly, moisturises, doesn't build up in the blade too much. I never bought anything else after trying it once.

I did a science fair project a couple months ago and basically Aquaphor retains the most moisture the longest followed closely by petroleum jelly

That's awesome that you did an experiment like that! I like testing things out too!! I'm currently studying data science :) I have found as someone with very dry skin that stuff like that doesn't work as well bc while it retains moisture, there's not much moisture to retain lol (and I don't like the slimy feeling.) CeraVe lotion worked much better bc it helps retain moisture but it also puts in moisture and helps your skin build up its natural barrier again (I mostly have used it on my hands when they get extremely chapped and nothing else seems to work.) I think if you can handle the slimy feeling and your skin isn't as dehydrated and cracking as mine though, the max moisture retaining options could work really well to help you have super smooth skin :)

I have always showered in the: Shave body -> Wash hair -> Clean skin order and have always been covered in red dots and ingrown hairs. I've never even thought of exfoliating first. Thanks 👍

I highly recommend exfoliating the night before or at least a few hours before! Since shaving is also a method of exfoliation, using a scrub right beforehand means you would be double exfoliating - which can worsen skin sensitivity and irritability in the long run

Amys story hit hard. The very same happened to me. I have a lot of male hormones and grow a lot of dark hair basically everywhere and very quickly. Worst thing was that I actually grew (and still do, nowadays I just shave them every shower, it just a normal habit now) side burns, which as a 15 year old girl just sucks... At some point I stopped wearing short stuff or was scared of going swimming. My hair always hid my face. Girls in my class thought of it as "unclean" and so I excessively washed and cleaned myself. Now? I don't care anymore and it makes me feel so much better. I can just agree with all of it. Having body hair, no matter how much or even how little, is completely natural. YOU decide how you want to "wear" it and not others and either way it's perfect the way you like it.

I went through a laser treatment to prevent my hair from growing in my legs and armpits because my hair tended to grow under my skin (and also because I was really hairy and felt so ashamed of my body hair) and honestly my skin feels better than ever, not only takes so long for my hair to grow back, now is thinner and doesn’t requiere to shave that often. When I started the laser process I got used to exfoliate my legs and now I do it at least once a week.

This made me go buy exfoliant and I realized why I get raiser bumps it’s cause I grow my hair out for months and just straight up shave it. I didn’t know I had to trim before shaving. As someone with only a dad who shaves his beard there’s only so much he can teach me. Who knew after 7 years of shaving I’d learn something new. Great video
