As someone who has been slowly been building their dream wardrobe over the past couple of years, I agree! A lot of capsule wardrobe/style advice channels warn people against buying clothes that are too aspirational. While I understand what they mean and that in many cases this can result in clothes going unworn, perhaps the buyer should challenge themselves to step out of their comfort zone to some degree. We are encouraged to dress down in many ways by society, and perhaps this isn’t the right approach.

This is a bit off topic, but it recently clicked for me why the "sun essence" is powerful. I felt like compared to the magnetism of the "Moon", the "Sun" brightening a social enviroment isn't that interesting. But recently I had this thought: you don't really look at the Sun directly for a long time (nobody should haha). And this is the intensity that actually can brighten up a whooole space. And that is awesome. Sincerely: a Moonstone in denail

So happy to get a new Rita video!!! You placed me in the illuminatrix style key two years ago and it’s really helped me navigate how to dress to feel like myself through all the changes of my chronic illness

I use style to pursue my dreams of being a different person in a fantasy world. No surprise that I could use some help with that big one, I'm sure. I've followed Style Key on and off, you know, one of those Kibbe-type ambivalent journeys. Recently I was sort of having success with LD, but in the new PDF, none of the style logics work with my dream, and I'm worried that listening to future content or buying ANYTHING Style Key now, even if it had a pre-existing form, is going to rub me the wrong way and be really un-fun in the same way. Feedback about whether and how to keep using Style Key is welcome, I guess. I am "actually" LU in "essence" but just absolutely can't stand it (the logic). I know to a lot of the fandom, "long ambivalent Kibbe journey" = get outta here, don't bring that here, don't let it happen to you! but I know Rita ought to understand how this kind of mixed feelings happen. It is hard to ignore a video with a title like this floating around circles I'm still in. However, please don't tell me to "be yourself" or "work on your self-esteem"... I already did a TON... I came a huge long way... I just want to live my dream now! :( (Is it better or worse that I actually straight-up just like Kibbe? Yeah, he talks about "YOU," but he also kind of makes up a personality for "you"? There's just so much bullshit that it doesn't feel like he actually means you have to "be yourself," lol)

This is great advice. I would caution people to not dress better than their boss or supervisor because they find that threatening. Great topic❤
