Have you ever tried to match navy, reds, khaki, taupes, even black! They are all different! I want manufactures to put numbers on the colors!! For instance 151 red will match any other 151. Or 76 navy will match any other 76 navy. It would make shopping so much easier!!

I had to use her first name to give her the respect her style deserves! 😂 Kate is my favorite style icon. ❤ I love this video so much, Oralia!! I have fallen in deep love with navy this year. I have eliminated most of my black clothes in favor of the navy. I love winter whites, the icy blues, the heather blues, the tans! I had not noticed how black zaps the color out of clothes. Some of the shades you were calling tan are actually Cognac which is a beautiful color. Great video 👍

Cognac and Windsor Tan are pretty much the same colours. Tan is more of a blanket term. Cognac is like a sub category.

Correct! Shades like camel, caramel, & cognac (and any other names they're given) are all different shades tan. 😉

This is so informative for me. I have no idea what colors are good for me. I especially never knew that different shades of beige “wash us out”. Now I’m searching for color wheels, and videos of what colors are good for my skin tone. My question for this is, how do I know what colors ( or beiges) are flattering on my when my skin tone changes seasonally? Pale in North East winters, hazel eyes, light brown hair. To golden bronze skin tone, blonder hair , hazel eyes in spring, Summer, and fall ? I need help in this dept. ❤

It’s so hard to say without looking at you. What I’d advise is put a color you’re interested in up to your face. If you see a lot of shadows or you look a little sick then it’s likely not for you up against your face. If you look vibrant and healthy, then it’s a good one up against your face. I do have another color video planned so stay tuned! 😉

Can you tell me where to find plus size satin skirts, as well as where to find things to wear underneath to get a smooth look. Welcome! 👋🏼 JCrew and Quince have really beautiful selections in plus sizes (bonus Quince skirts are washable silk). As for smoothing - Honeylove shapers for some compression, Thigh Society for slip shorts that smooth but don’t compress. Hope that helps! 😃

Agree that black plus brights can look cheap. A popular color combo but not a great one. Black looks great with white, gray, tan, navy, and black-based prints.

It depends on your undertone. If you're trying true white, it leans cool so if you have a warm undertone, it'll look off. If that's the case, try a warmer white like winter white, or ivory. If you're cool toned and you're trying warm whites, then they won't look right, try true white. 😉

I think one of the main reasons white looks expensive is because it implies the wearer can afford to KEEP it that way. I'm a stain/spill magnet and simply cannot hang with it sadly.
