The man put the coveted undefeated record on the line against a man who probably weighed about 25 maybe even closer to 30 pounds more on fight night after rehydration. "Dare to be great" he said several times leading up to and after the fight. Knowing the value of achievements over silly tallies and arbitrary records says to me that we are witnessing a future Great of the sport. Were gonna be looking back on this era of MMA and counting our lucky stars we got to witness it unfold.

It's a drill. They're drilling defence from ground and pound when you're on bottom. That's why Dan tells him to get back to the floor when he gets up. The position is started that way and the point is to protect yourself from strikes while getting back up.
