let's unpack my 1 bedroom new york city apartment :) there is so much to do but so little time!!! slowly getting settled but it has been very overwhelming!!! trying to manage my full time corporate job, youtube and moving (phew!!!!). it will take some time to settle and eventually decorate but its ok....slow progress is progress at the end :)))

welcome back!!! this video editing took longer than expected....feeling very very burnt out!!! I didnt realize how many things I was managing this past few months. I kept pushing and pushing and now I have no energy. it will take some time to settle and eventually decorate but slow progress is progress at the end ❤

I just love your apartment!!! The light, kitchen cabinets, and space are so much better than your previous place. I understand your feelings of exhaustion, but it will be worthwhile in the end... a beautiful place you can call home!!! Get some vitamins that include b-complex that will help with some energy problems. Now, here are some suggestions.... Bedroom 1. Get those closet doors put back in your bedroom 2. Get a closet organizer from Lowes or Home Depot. It will help take weight off that rod, and you can utilize your space better. Hall closet 1. Get large shelves put in above the rod to support your suitcases. 2. Get another closet organizer to utilize all your space as much as possible. Bathroom 1. Spray WD40 or olive oil on the hinges. That will take care of the squeak. I would do this to all your hinges in the apartment to prevent future squeaks. Also, make sure they're all clear of paint. If you haven't done so already, take pictures of everything ASAP that has an issue no matter how tiny. COVER YOUR BACKSIDE!!!! Did I yell loud enough!!! I'm speaking from experience because when I moved out of my first apartment, my apartment management tried to ding me on issues that were there when I moved in. I had documentation and pictures to prove they were wrong, and I got my deposit back. I'm really enjoying your videos, so please keep up with the good work!!!!

Towels and other things in the bathroom will help acoustics. I am sure you know by now if you have done that and recorded since for next upload. However as a mother. You can and should look after yourself. Do a bit at a time. It's all content so... Win win

Nspresso pods are hermetically sealed! That date is more of a “best by” date. They don’t actually expire. I hope you kept them!!

Hi! For the second level of your walk in I would suggest a long metal pool with a hook on the end like you would see in a retail store. It’s really easy to move up or down multiple pieces at a time and will take up way less space than a ladder large enough to reach.

For the high clothes rail: In fashion stores they have often a long rod with a hook to put the clothes up and down. Maybe that's an idea? So you don't need a stapladder.

I wished some of the portions were abit bigger but again that probably is “regular” sized portion… I just tend to eat a lot. Following their portion size is probably a good idea for me lol. I had used Chelsea’s code to order my first order and I am glad I did. I would order from them again :))

New job or position and moving are two stressful events! I love cleaning content. That rotating disc in the cabinet is a lazy susan. My grandma kept her canned goods on them and would rotate the disc to organize and find them. You can store whatever you want there though.

Your apartment is coming together very nicely! Give yourself the grace you need to get it all done. Balancing all you’re doing is really stressful. Just take your time and enjoy the process. Btw the cabinet with the water damage…since there’s no more water issues I would put a liner down and use it to store cleaning products…Clorox wipes, extra clothes or dish soap, swifter wet wipes, etc. I know storage in NYC apartments are precious commodity. ❤

Love this! Just so happy for you- this place has such a positive vibe to it because of the light! And that walk in, you could easily get a narrow depth cabinet for storage of whatever you needed! There is so much room! And I can’t wait to see what decor you go with for walls, etc. 😊😊😊 And sidenote, I would still use your coffee pods. Lol. Those things are expensive, and a few months is it bad, unless you notice the taste stale.

keep the doors off the closet in the bedroom...they take up too much space when opening& probably hard to open...that's why they are off. You can get a new metal bar for the closet rod... ALWAYS use a measuring tape prior to "moving" things..saves your sanity!!!! LOL.... Get a sturdy shelf stand for your micro on the counter...then you will have storage space underneath on the counter also & it will hide that ugly outlet w/plug ( very helpful...did that with my toaster oven). BTW , nobody 'cleans" like yourself! ~ I always clean even "if" it looks clean when I move in..Good Luck

For tennis elbow- try checking out your scapula and rotator cuff. Mine would always flare up if I wasn’t strengthening my back and would go away so quickly when I conditioned back :)

I LOVE those curtains for the closet!! I just want to cuddle with them!! I think that material would also make an amazing 60's Mod Style Pea coat. With GIANT Buttons and stops at just above the knees and a matching color of satin lining.

I meant to comment when you found your apartment, but congratulations! I know how stressful and tiring that hunt was, and I hope this new place brings you all the joy possible. Also, please take care of yourself - moving in general can be so draining, but especially when you're trying to unpack everything and get settled into your routine. Hi Tisha, congrats on the new apartment, the moving and a new chapter! 🍸✨ Maybe you can get a long stick or long painting stick with a hook on it, to use it in your walk in closet to hang and grab the clothes on the high wooden beam. (If this makes any sense 😂). My mom is small and uses it for her high closet. I also remember using something similar in gymnastics to get the flying rings down from the ceiling. Hugs from the Netherlands. 🫶🏽
