Layers are so helpful. I got some of those thin thermal leggings and long sleeves shirts for layering and they help to not feel bulky. Also my tights I’m wearing are opaque tights that simulate sheer tights (they have a tan inner lining). They make them with fleece but I don’t have any.

Hola Scotty. I'm a 50 yr nana of 1 and today was day #1 of my vintage journey. Including red 💋, hair and make up. I've been collecting pieces for a year or so and today I rocked a modern maxi red dress, vintage 70s belt and 70s boots and a vintage embroidered cardigan as well as a vintage wool baret. Felt looks from older than me people, they were looks of approval, I think 🤭 Love your vids, I also rewatch them. I get so much inspo, tips, tricks. Thank you so much🤗. I feel like the weather in the Central Valley just turned Autumnal. And I'm loving it (Spring & Fall = not too hot/cold ) I can relate to the not leaving the house/wearing the same leisure/comfy clothes thing. It kind of sucks to have a closet full of clothes but nowhere to wear them 😢 It will probably be difficult to find real leather Victorian style boots. The reproduction vintage shoe & boot sites I lustfully lurk on usually run $300 & up for real leather. Victorian Trading Company has affordable non leather granny boots & Victorian/Edwardian boots/shoes. I threw out 4 pairs of faux leather boots & a couple purses because the material cracked & peeled so I only buy real leather shoes & bags now. They at least can be repaired or touched up if scuffed.

Yeah fining good real leather boots/shoes second hand is really rare and hard. I’ve done it but it’s a treasure hunt. I’ve been eyeing some knee high lace up flat boots on Vintage Foundry and the went 50% off for Black Friday, but even at that discount I couldn’t afford them 😂 good shoes are so expensive 😭

I love your style. I was actually a teen in the 90’s and I love a good 70’s inspired look as well. I am trying to find a good adult/ midsize version of the look but I struggle with practicality versus aesthetic lol! Summertime is easier, wintertime not so much.
