I caught myself smiling as I wandered around Snohomish, WA just taking in all the unique treasures from years gone by. I know you understand. Come along with me, like good friends do and let me show you what turned up this time. Then, my favorite part of all- the coming home to review and incorporate it into my home like it has always been there. What did you see that you loved?

I was smiling also, and wished I were there to pick up some of those great vintage pieces. right along side you!The only favorite I have, honestly, is just getting your vlogs! ❤😊

My hometown! Love shopping there. Joyworks is my favorite

What a lovely town . I really enjoyed seeing it and all the wonderful shops. I can’t believe those prices ! Here in Southern Maine the prices are getting too high for our shops. You bought the perfect Pieces for your home. What really stood out for me wasn’t about decor but John James Audubon and how God wanted him to paint all the birds. I never heard that and it’s beautiful espeacially when someone listens and believes and lives out the mission God has planned for them. I’ll look him up I’ve always loved his work and now knowing this makes it more speacial. Thankyou so much and have a really beautiful blessed day 🙏🕊😇🌹

Love what you shared here! A friend and I had a home decor shop in Mount Vernon, just north of Snohomish, for 25 years. We would go to market every year in Atlanta and meet up with Jana and Clarice from Joyworks and have dinner every year. They have such a good eye. Don't get to Snohomish a lot anymore but love it when I can.

I lived for many years in Snohomish county and Snohomish was my stomping ground! Bought my first true antique there, a celluloid photo album for $18 when I was 17 which I still have. I still go whenever I go see my daughter who still lives in Arlington.

Those are Roe Deer Antlers which are European deer. Good find!!! I found a red stag one a few years ago from Europe (Id have to read the name again on the plate) and it's mounted on black forest wood. I love it.

Hi Sarah, I just bought those prints for 3.99 each. I bought a grouping of florals. They had ferns but no crabs. I love the shell box! You’d have to collect a lot of shells to make that. I did a picture frame 30 years ago and it’s still one of my favorites. Have a great week.

That was a really neat Shoppe .... I was surprised to see the Bicycle...I actually HAVE that same Bicycle....I consider the " S " on the seat a nod to my own name, as well.l.ol...( my Name begins with " S " ..... mine also has the baskets that go .on the back of it. It was given to me, when I admired it at the home of someone where I'd been doing painting work. .. never thinking they'd just " give it to me ".. I felt so Blessed !

Wonderful video, Sarah! I really wanted to thrift today, but schedule did not allow, so it was a treat to come along antiquing with you! And yes, I LOVE what you said about God calling us in unique and sometimes “hidden” ways. I love Audubon prints and I never knew what you shared about his calling. It inspires me greatly in the small work I do for the Lord in my corner of the world. Blessings! 💕

I can totally relate to your comment about tired of looking. I had been searching for a school desk from the 60's-70's, the desk and chair were not connected. This was the kind of desk I had as a child in grade school. I found them but they were always over $100-$125 and I didn't want to pay that much. I finally found one at the ReStore for $79. Asked if they would take less, but they were firm, so I walked away. Well got home, looked on Etsy and eBay and still over 100 dollars. Called them to hold it and drove right back and got it! Now it is my nightstand with a basket underneath for my decorative bed pillows. I love it!

I wonder if the shell box came from John's Pass in Florida? Before COVID there was a boutique that sold those and they were supposed to be made by a local artist! We went recently to John's Pass and so many of the old shops didn't come back after COVID, sad.
