The new cabinet looks great with plates and fall decor. The chandelier looks really pretty with branches and jewels. Halloween means Hallowed or Holy Evening as it's the night before All Saints Day. That's worth celebrating with a feast! Harry Potter is about witchcraft which is wrong. Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, and especially Little House on the Prairie series are wholesome and great family reads.

The shelf turned out so nice, love the way you decorated it. And I agree, curtains make a big difference. But I can't share your enthusiasm on the chandelier. The thought of leaves falling into food makes me feel uneasy. I probably would have used artificial plants. Some look very realistic.
