My wife is 8 months pregnant and as she was driving today, she got involved in a terrible head collision accident. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏Her car was pushed away 15 metres away while she was inside. I thank God she survived and the baby is okay. God is great.

So how did it go from this..... a multiplicity of great and talented well dressed and dignified black musical acts that people of all races would be forced to admire .... to black guys and gals on stage with pants hanging off their asses? WTF? As a black youngster growing up in the 1970s groups like the Stylistics, Manhattan s, Chi-Lites, Spinners, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes and numerous others made you so proud to be black. And don't talk about the beautiful elegant female black singers with their classy gowns like Dionne Warwick, Gladys Knight, Patty La Belle, Roberta Flack, Diana Ross, Natalie Cole, Three Degrees, Emotions, Pointer Sisters. 🙏🎀

You Make Me Feel Brand New The Stylistics My love I'll never find the words my love To tell you how I feel my love Mere words could not explain Precious love you held my life within your hands Created everything I am taught me how to live again Only you cared when I needed a friend Believed in me though thick and thin This song is for you filled with gratitude and love God bless you You make me feel brand new For God blessed me with you You make me feel brand new I sing this song 'cause you Make me feel brand new My love whenever I was insecure You built me up and made me sure You gave my pride back to me Precious friend, with you I always have a friend You're someone whom I can depend to walk the path that sometimes bends Without you Life has no meaning or rhymes Like notes to a song out of time How can I repay you for having faith in me God bless you You make me feel brand new For God blessed me with you You make me feel brand new I sing this song for you Make me feel brand new

Breaks my heart every time I hear it. My boyfriend at the time used to sing this to me. I loved him beyond life. A year later he left me for A man. Said he still loved me, can’t have both. I have gone through 2 marriages since. Loved my late husband so much. I held a torch for my first love..but when we connected on the internet years later...he had married his husband and I realised I grieved for someone I knew years ago. Thinking back it wouldn’t have worked as he got more oh, how do you say it? He was masculine with me, but when I met him years later, not the same. It wouldn’t have worked, you are what you are! I have no resentment now.

Back in the time of this classic black people were loved and respected because of these kind of singing groups. Nowadays the "n" thugs sing about screwing, robbing, killing, etc. It is so horrible that black groups have made a ton of money by glorifying sex, drugs, disrespectful behavior and breaking laws. They have shamed what the black groups in the 60's, 70's and 80's fought for. 😢

Without Russell and his falsetto there would be no Stylistics. Thom Bell and Linda Creed wanted Russell...and only Russell. They didnt like the sound of the other 4. They wrote songs ONLY FOR RUSSELL. His first 3 albums they didnt sing one note. On his 12 straight top hits they didnt sing a note. Except Russ asked Bell & Creed to write a song Airion would have a part to sing . They wrote "You are Everything" and. " You Make Me Feel Brand New". Russell recorded over 300 songs during the 30 years. He was happier the day he left than he had been in decades and felt a huge weight was off his shoulders. He is doing good. Eban left the other 2 guys also. As did Bo Henderson, and another older guy ( didnt last long when people booed & walked out of concert.....now they have Mike Muse. Always hiring someone young to try to imitate Russell.....that's all they do is cover Russell's hits. Russell was the Stylistics. He"s the real deal! Even Thom Bell said Russell was the Stylistics. 🎶❣🎶

My love I'll never find the words, my love To tell you how I feel, my love Mere words could not explain Precious love You held my life within your hands Created everything I am Taught me how to live again Only you, care when I needed a friend Believe in me through thick and thin This song is for you Filled with gratitude and love God bless you You make me feel brand new For God blessed me with you You make me feel brand new I sing this song 'cause you Make me feel brand new My love Whenever I was insecure You build me up and made me sure You gave my pride back to me Precious friend With you I'll always have a friend You're someone who I can depend To walk a path that sometimes bend Without you Life has no meaning or rhyme Like notes to a song out of time How can I repay you for having faith in me? God bless you You make me feel brand new For God blessed me with you You make me feel brand new I sing this song 'cause you You You

This song takes me back to 1978 when my wife walked out on me and 3 young ckildren ? my friend and his wife helped me a lot, and needed it. Anette was the best thing i new and i feel in love with her, but she was my friends wife, which i will never forget. Even today listening brings back old wounds.
