Thanks! Yes made with Blender and the particle system. 😊 I'm actually currently working on a video where I want to show how I set it up and rendered it!

Looks so cool. I love how u went for square ish rocks instead of round ones. Around 1:56 what did u do after the inset on the faces ? Merge?

I think you mean the "Bridge Loop"... So I used Inset first and then with both faces still selected, F3 (Search) -> "Bridge Edge Loops"... I hope thats what you mean 😉
