The worst 2 things for me is 1. they decided to stop PVE a year and a half ago and still dragged us along thinking it was still being made. 2. This means the PVP in Overwatch 2 was done with the full staff focusing on PVP and we all thought it launched in such a bad state was because most of the work was on PVE. Why are heroes being released broken and reworks taking half a year if everyone is working on PVP

Every other creator shilled super hard for Blizzard, some were literally incapable of criticizing them for more than a second without immediately following up with some kind of praise or poorly thought out argument in their favor. Everything wrong with the game they had a mental gymnastic stunt ready to try to defend it. The fact Stylosa unapologetically called out Blizzard on their BS makes him the only one worthy of respect. Blizzard recently went on damage control making some "big" announcements and the usual suspects jumped on it big time claiming that things are "not as bad as they seem" even though the announcements were fucking lame and wouldn't see the light of day for months anyway.

I really feel for you and all the dedicated creators who worked so hard to help make the OW community what it is (or was, depending on how you look at it). Hell, I started content creation solely focused on Overwatch before things shifted. I remember Beta week of OW1 and how magical it all felt. Everyone was excited like never before, and the possibilities felt endless for this new world of characters and gameplay. I made some of my best friends still to this day through OW, and I remember us sharing all your videos in our group chat the second they would come out. How simple it all felt. I also remember sitting in HQ for the OW preview on Nintendo Switch and silently freaking out when I recognized your voice at the monitor next to mine. Getting to meet you, Kit, Krysta, Jeff, and the OW team was a wild memory I'll never forget. I don't think many things could have gotten me so excited then, but OW was certainly one of the few. The community made it what it was. Hope you keep on making videos that make you happy! Your insights and personality are always welcome to so many of us. As a fellow die hard OW fan who's been playing since OW1 Beta, I love how passionate you are about the game. Overwatch has got me through so much stress and anxiety in my mid/late 20s and early 30s. I remember I first encounter Overwatch was when I was 14-15. At that point my parents didnt let me play video games one bit lol I could only play it when I went to my friend's house, like barely any, once-twice a week. Then I graduated from secondary school, froze Overwatch and all its best memory I have ( i dont vistit that friend as often anymore). Currently I do a break of OW, since 3 weeks when I finished the battle pass and got my mythic skin. Since then I don't have an urge to play again. Normally when I watch a OW content creator videos I get hyped again but this time nothing. I hope they can deliver, but what I heard of star watch I don't have high hopes. I feel very bad for the dev team, to put your time in something your there excited for only to be canceled, knowing it wasn't your fault but the higher ups.

I felt deeply disappointed when i watched YourOverwatch latest vid trying to be more positive about the future and the f2p decisions and I felt like someone who spoke out so well about this turned on the hopium supply again. I'm absolutely done now with the game, it meant alot to me, carried me through my hardest times in my life, introduced me through lFG-feature to my reallife friendgroup Ik now for around 5 years and also introduced me thanks to the fandom to my boyfriend I used to have a longdistance relationship with (he lives on the otherside of my country) which I move together this year after 2 years. The game meant alot to me, but after all the veterans left especially Jeff and Micheal Chu I only started to get disappointed bx the content they put out like lore, new heros and the changed design principal of 6vs6 to 5v5. This game lost any charm it used to have for me and became a past shell of it former glory self. I'm gonna take my leave now and look for new communities and games that can capture me like ow once did. Rn I kinda discovered Titanfall2 for myself, an amazing fps game that sadly failed not because it was bad but because it never was given a chance and found the same faith like battleborn, releasing in the worst timing ever. Sadly it got abandoned by EA but the fanbase is deeply dedicated and found a solution with the Northstar client for the ddos bots that plaqued the servers of the game. It's such a bummer seeing good games fail while bs like ow that do not deserve those amounts of money fans feed into in the first place If we fans don't take actions we won't see any changes in the current gamingindustry. Stop supporting if you want to see a change, because if we continue they will continue as well without learning about their mistakes

this really much reminds me of the "death of a game: overwatch" episode by nerdslayer or more like a continuation of it. Ive loved this game. Ive met my best friends in this game and they met their best friends and in some cases even wifes in this game. You where able to feel the love that went into everything in overwatch and every new release ( remember the ana and sombra teases?) It was an amazing time to be playing the game. The fact that you spoke of that they pretty much sucked all the soul and core team out of the game really shows. Ive tried to love Ow2 and still try but its just sad to see. I aswell as many others hoped to at least be able to enjoy a nice campaign we can replay every couple of months to at least have a reason to still have the game installed. Dont get me wrong the game is still fun and i can enjoy a couple of rounds but there is no hook in there anymore

I stopped playing like 5 months ago regularly, then uninstalled like a month ago. I ended un uninstalling not even because all the changes and bullshit that's been going on with the game for so long, but because it just wasn't fun anymore. like ever. it was almost exclusively frustrating. i didn't get anything from playing anymore. if you feel this way, i recommend you do the same. you can always come back if they ever get the game to be fun and something else than the shitshow that it feels like now.

Having spent so much time, having made so many videos, having made yourself be a pillar of this game's community, it must be a real hefty kick in the sack to have finally been told after years and years of stagnation, "We don't actually care about our community, give us more money please :)". Here's where I promote Paladins. I know Overwatch and Paladins have butted heads in the past, but at this point, Paladins is the much, much better game. I highly recommend and happily invite those who have stopped playing Overwatch 2 to play Paladins instead. They have a great, competitive community and it would only get better if it had more players than it already does.

No offense but as someone who play paladins religiously mostly because I didn’t have psplus to play online games and I went to overwatch 2 and I I’m not going back because for one the game is still buggy the new characters are all over the place as in they don’t fit the game at all and really it’s not that fun and it saddens me because paladins used to be great when we got natural support and bug fixes but still a fun game but god if expect a clean game experience with no bugs than ya nope to paladins…but if you want to see interesting ideas and concepts for characters and abilities than ya but still I will probably still play overwatch 2 until blizzard fUCks up the game more than I’m out

I stopped palying OW back when Moira first released. Around the time of the PVE Blackwatch event. I realized how inherently unbalanced class based shooters are. fast forward to OW2 release. I gave it some thought about diving back in. But then i saw the changes. Characters, objectively *good* Characters, behind paywalls, features from the first game removed. Now a promise shattered with cancelation of PVE. Im glad i dint download. Also f*ck off with asking for your cell number to play.

Love the video sty, brief correction though. When they say the changed plan 1.5 years ago, they were talking about the staggered release and going free to play. So pve was still planned. As they released they pvp stuff and dev time was taken towards the pvp part of the game around Oct, they realized they couldn't develop the live game and pve. Around November to December, they decided to cut hero missions and re allocate dev resources. After redevelopment on future plans they released the road map once the were confident on what they could deliver.

The thing that bothered me the most about OW2 was the lack of mnk compatibility on console and balancing the aim assist for controller vs mnk. I was stoked for the story mode but now I am going back to halo. I have put a lot into OW and coming to the realization that it is not for me is disappointing
