Incredible! Ok have to tell my story… 1997 I was a flight attendant in training and staying at the Renaissance Hotel in Atlanta. I boarded the hotel van in the morning, it was still dark outside, and there was a man with long blonde hair and a suit and tie already seated in the van. I thought he had to be a business man but the long hair and mustache was unusual. He was being dropped off at the airport. So we chatted , he asked about my flight attendant training and soon to be career as if it was the most fascinating job ever. Once it was time for the van to depart and he was dropped off at the airport the van driver looked back at me and asked if I knew who that man was. I said no, I had no idea. He said he was in the band Styx and they had a concert in town the night before. I couldn’t believe it. I’d heard their music growing up of course but couldn’t pick them out of a lineup. How amazing, that this man was more interested in talking about my life than himself when he was clearly very successful. I will never forget it. If you happen to read this, I’ve been flying for 25 years now and will never forget your kind words of support. Thank you!
