One of those airshow moments that will stay with me forever

Will never forget that arrival. Never before have I had to look through the spectators in front of me and look DOWN to see the aircraft. Anatoly Kvochur and his displays were a privilege to watch.

I was at the far end of the run way, and never even saw the Su-27 (due to the curving of Boscombe`s runway) was so awesome to see that plane all of the sudden come over the hill and head our way.

I was at that airshow and that impromptu short display was the highlight for me. If I remember correctly the Russians were late arriving & they had to abort the helicopter display to allow them to land, and "wow" when the Mig escorted the liner in eh !!
