Any tips on the r27t? To me, it just seems to be a worse r73 as the should share the same seeker but the r27 is less maneuverable and slower than r73.

@@WingsOfGloryPlayer the funnest thing about it is that the cobra isn't viable in most other cases since you lose all speed so if you don't kill them after that cobra, you're unable to turn, slow, and easy to 3rd party with both guns and any missiles with irccm so the cobra is really fun the ONE time it hits

some errors : R-73 is 110kg, not 110g tips : due to the reason that the r-27r has INS of 20s, you can lock and unlock the opponent to prevent being detected, guide the missile when it is close to your enemy

I noticed that if I lose lock on someone I just lock someone else, then I relock the original target and the missile hits them

Don't know how I didn't spot that, also I've tried locking and relocking a target and it worked, but for me the missile self destructed after around 5 seconds of not keeping a radar lock, not 20 seconds

@KireRebek yea it usually does self destruct after about 5sec, but still if you lose lock you can quickly lock someone else and the missile will continue flying and then you relock your original target and the missile will usually hit them if they haven’t gone outside of the search cone thingy (I forgot what it’s called)

10:49 The Su27 is very OP in a dogfight, BVR too (u can fire the missiles outside of their range but they still hit the unexpecting enemy), it has great speed, I just hate how bad the flare resistance is sometimes and the gun needs to be aimed VERY well (unlike the F15) which is annoying, but I give it a 15/10 but sometimes ppl have way too much skill and then it turns into a 5/10 (yea ik I have skill issues). the r-27r is also pretty good in long range, i once got a 25km kill with it, of course i had to climb to 10k m but its really worth it

@WingsOfGloryPlayer Sure, I might know how all the radar stuff works but I can't apply this knowledge when I'm actually playing the game and that's what's most important, knowing how to play and not die to every missile, I don't have a favorite tier, I play whatever I make a video on or what gets the missions for events done

The R-27T is quite easy to flare, you just have to cut your afterburner and drop a couple flares, if it was fired from behind you need to cut your afterburner, turn and flare

Only one I'm sure of is the F-18A, otherwise there's a couple other planes that might get added to tier 7 like the MiG-27, F-111F, MiG-25, Mirage 2000D... It's not confirmed that these planes are coming to T7, these are just my predictions

@waiddw0 turns off your aoa limiter which normally is there to keep you from ripping your wings off and let you retain energy better. its only to be used when the only realistic way of winning a dogfight is to shoot a high off boresight shot from unexpected angles, when you need an enemy to overshoot for a r73 shot or for a 1 turn kill
