Does not make a single bit of difference if one is struggling to keep things in air. Su30 - 13 lost in last 14 years , one of them in Mid air collision Tejas - Virtually zero operational history, but once enough squadrons have done conversion and accumulated hours, we will know better. Mig 29 - 23 lost since induction (which was not very long ago tbh) Rafale - Same as Teja. Too early , not enough sorties or missions done. IAF has not come to grips or experienced enough with it yet. Need to hit maturity first. Jaguar - 56 lost since 81, 4 of them in Mid air collisions. See numbers do not matter as much as you like to think. The crash rates of IAF are astronomical and unfortunately, the fatalities in incidents is very high . Which means that IAF is losing pilots at high rate too. That loss is bigger than that of a plane.

first and foremost, IAF needs to keep them in the air. 13 gone down since induction which is not very long ago. On average , one goes down every other year. More than half of the incidents costed pilot lives. IAF has done dirty with Mig 29 too. The point is, you can mount photon torpedoes and dark matter missiles on the damn thing, but if you can't fly and manage it, its pointless.

In spite of this, in every country, crashes do occur and are unavoidable. Su-30s are being well managed and maintained, and they are now of Super Sukhoi Standard. this is blatant fantasy. an f-15 has a tremendously powerful radar and the su30 is a massive airplane. you could easily lock a su30 with an F-4 phantom radar. Oh, and the f-15 fires AAMRAMS, so you aren't going to outmaneuver a missile that goes Mach 4 and pulls 25 Gs. Blatant cope.

Secondly, Raptor or F22 , has never come close to S400 so to say S400 can take it down, is a bit retarded fanboy nonsense. F35 did operate for a short while in region where S300 was deployed and it is CLAIMED that although it detected F35, it did not hit. So we cannot say anything with certainty. Also, one thing you need to know, F22 is a damn good air superiority fighter and as good as Su30 is, taking on F22 is not going to be a cakewalk because situational awareness for that mean machine is insane and the same holds true for Dogfight. Talking of dogfight, IAF is not very keen on or rather never was good at dogfight. IAF has been more driven toward technological superiority such as BVR, radar and SAMs, so basically you can have a dogfight capable aircraft, it'll be wasted.

Now India thinking to spend around 25 billion dollars to upgrade 22 years old aircraft to super sukhoi standard where new engine will be installed with new avionics and long rang bvr missile. To counter this Pakistan already have jf-17s with 145km range PL-15 in future Pakistan could get Pl-21 with 200km range with J-10CP with only few hundred million dollars deal. With 25 meter square rcs even aircraft from ground can scan it 😂. Su27/30 they are very old design dog fight era now they are useless infront of highly advanced BVR capabilities. RCS matters too much than long range bvr missiles with the combination of electronic warfare technology this is what Pakistan did with India on 27 Feb 2019 india had 270 Su 30mki and guess what they couldn't even come closer to Jf-17s and F-16s because they can lock missile's on su-30 from 90km while Su-30 had to come to 50-60km to fire a missile

u know na bvr capabilities dont depend on plane rather the missile and as far as u are concerned about indian jets they came close to them and even locked and shot an f16 well at that time for first time bvr advantage came to pork cause of chinese pl15e bt now it has again come to india thanks to astra mk1 and 2 and very soon india and china will have same bvr capabilities cause of astra mk3 (range 300km) and india already has bvr range of 200km+ (meteor)

🤣🤣🤣 whats your point?... Both ukraine and Russia is fighting with same fighter jets... Both have su27 and su25... Plus the su30mki has Russian design only.. You may research about it more. Su30mki is especially designed for indian standards... It only has a body of Russia... But soul is indian. It has indigenous radars, and weapon Package is different. On other hand , im just being honest, ukraine is just being used by NATO as a puppet, Americans just fueling the war and ukraine is loosing it's own sons. Have a great day!
