Having tried, and failed, to finish the Kitty Hawk F-35B, I have sworn never to touch a Kitty Hawk kit ever again. Ever. It was a terrible, terrible, kit. Badly fitting, badly engineered... I don't think it ever had a test-build before it was released to market in 2012. So huge kudo's for you for getting as far as you did.... :-)

makes sense - the painting is kinda not related to the quality of the kit (outside bad fit) - both kits 'fitted' together, and I think if the GW was not available, we'd be 'happy' with the KH kit - although always thinking in the back of mind 'There must be a better way' - Now, I don't know what to do with my Academy SU-27 with all the corrections - that owes me $... do I just let it go??? maybe (ebay!!) - my GW kit has just turned up, and it's in another league...

Good call. The MLRS sounds man.

The MLRS is a fantastic kit - just got kinda subsumed by everything else going on.

I have a couple of them in the closet. Looking forward to seeing what you do. Appreciate your candid/ fair review of the KH. Enjoy your time off. Is your employer hiring? :) .

Are those couple the new Trumpeter ones? Because with the exception of the barebones suspension it's easily one of the most enjoyable kits I've worked on in years.

Smart move by leaving the KH kit behind. Beside your 3 comprehensible personal reasons I think that 99% of the viewers want to see that GWH gem getting finished. By the way: You missed an outtake that ends at 8:35.

Yeah, noticed that and decided to just let it go. KZbin could really use a "replace video" option though for editing snafus like that.
