And let’s just hope you’re thrust vectoring doesn’t jam and lock up in a turn sending you into uncontrolled flat spin into the ground

Thats only in video games. IRL unless you strengthen the airframe and redesign a lot of it, it cant land on an aircraft carrier. Those planes have to be MUCH stronger. Unlesd you want your gear to collapse on landing and the plane to disintegrate e.g. The F-35C airframe is MUCH stronger than the F-35A airframe. Just watch a Airforce pilot landing and a Navy pilot landing, then its easy to understand

The su-57 gets the role as 5th gen fighter because of its speed and thrust vectoring which is similar to what the F-22’s tech They can move up or down and could increase the thrust if necessary and can improve a jets speed and agility That’s the one thing that the SU-57 is known for (besides the screaming) but everything else is … well…. 5th gen doesnt mean it can go everywhere though Most people underestimate how rough carrier landings are. Its basically a car crash everytime you land. Plus the airframe, landing gear and hook must be strong enough to withstand the forces In real life if you landed a SU-57 as you would an F-18 on a aircraf carrier, the plane would slam down on the deck, gear would collapse and you would shoot straight off the other side Theres a reason why there are so many crashes on carriers, its not easy and if you fuck up it up you are going for a swim

Bo flight game ever gets these right, bro even call of duty was more accurate. On a carrier, there’s is a steel cable that catches a hook on the bottom of the plane and there’s is usually 2 but sometimes 3 of these cables and when the pilot touches down they actually have to go full throttle so that in the unlikely event that the hook doesn’t latch the plane doesn’t stall when it leaves the runway and cause multi million dollar damages and possible injury’s or even the death of the pilot.
