What a refreshing post conference interview. Looking forward to watching more Hsieh matches in the future. Lots of thinking and feeling. No Doubt a very dangerous and smart player.

Lee B She did not want to be there. She was just blabbering, specially when she just told everyone that she choked, lost control, and Naomi jumped on it making things worst.
@leeb34455 жыл бұрын
@@maggotbrain7499 I don't see how it. Was blabbering. It's kinda brave to admit to choking, I see it more as self defacing humour and acknowledgement of a lesson learned. At least she can move forward and prob will have more fans now.

She think she was feeling better in an other place. Her point was, you saw what happened, and now i want to go and move further, are you done.

She is ADORABLE! Having fun with an audience of too serious reporters. They don't know what to do with her just like a lot of the other players. I also like the way she doesn't actually directly answer a lot of the questions which are not that good questions anyway.

That was a good point on the scheduling regarding why they didn't put Osaka on RLA but Margaret Court Arena instead
@cambed715 жыл бұрын
Osaka may have won a Grand Slam but Svitolina has done more and been around much longer near the top so they're about equal. Both matches were good though. Svitolina's had a better climax at the end though. And I'd rather they put close tight matches on RLA than one sided blow outs anyway

I agree I'm glad someone has said this. 1 Grand Slam dosent mean a person should be treated differently to someone who is trying thier best to be good.
@Leo-K1515 жыл бұрын
@@17sunnyhour it has nothing to do with treating differently 70% seats at RLA were empty and at the MCA not a single seat was empty, its all about fan and followers and thats how it should be treated #AusOpen got it all wrong this time its not about pretty faces people want to see quality tennis match and Naomi vs Hsieh should have been on the RLA for tha sake of tennis fans .

She is that one, male or female, that does the most surprising actions, things only she does. Very clever and smart on court. I think she has the best situative intelligence of all. Looking like a tender deer but able to fight like a lioness. Her service is widely improvable. What I didn't know till now: What a heartly and likeable charming person! She is to fall in love with from the distance.

i mean this with the utmost respect. if it is possible to be a pusher at the pro level she is it. crafty, unassuming , a little annoying but not. She is so hard to define. But if she is on your side of the draw you know how hard she is to beat and know it could be a very hard day, mentally and physically. Obviously nice too. Another great personality in the womens game. It takes a special individual to do what she does which is to turn really good players into butter.lol.

obviously the sexiest su wei is also the best player on tour at the moment. Problem is she has to play with the horse like likes of half man serenas etc. I propose like boxing we have womens tennis have two categories the light and the heavyweight with 60kg as the cutoff and then these females we can still refer to them only as heavyweight women rather than half men or simply horses. Every woman simply gets weighed right on the court before each match with her clothes on and the racquet and if in excess of 60kg then simply a forfeit.

"“She hits very different from everyone else ... I can never really tell where she's going to put the ball. She hits down the line and then hits a weird crosscourt. It's very, very hard to have a rally with her.” - Naomi Osaka after this match
@POObumpoopo5 жыл бұрын
You dumb bitch. She had more winners on the board than Naomi for most of the match. Su Wei is one of the more aggressive players on the tour, she's just different because she does it without power.
@Tunainthebrine795 жыл бұрын
@@rlwelch She changes patterns often to play an unorthodox style of play that keeps her opponents guessing. Once that wore off, Osaka knew that she just needed to play aggressive. Not giving her time to dictate the rallies and keep her on defense. This is girls 12s and 14s tennis. Doesn't work in the pros because most have graduated from this style of play. I'm certainly not saying that she isn't a good player, just doesn't have a versatile game. Very one dementional.
@martinlawrence30155 жыл бұрын
@@Tunainthebrine79 What a joke you'd said... Had you ever seen a junior player's playing style as unique as hsieh? if so, she must be in the top 50 hahaha. Hsieh is definitely a pro player not only because of her wisdom in tennis, but also her perfect feeling while hitting the ball. That's why she could reach the high level in tennis, won three titles and stood in top 30. Hsieh lost this game not because her playing style with variety, but because she was not in that great mood since 7:5 4:2 and Osaka had got her power and confidence back, which a grand slam champion should be. No doubt that Osaka is a great player, but what we know is that Hsieh's playing style is absolutely not easy to deal with. Even many top ten players had been confused.
