This kind of rating is vague and misleading because in terms of military power U.K, France, Germany and Japan is far ahead of Korea but this ranking is very selective and don't mention on what parameter they are publishing such report. But obviously this type of news are made to be consumed by particle audience, in this case S.Korea.

For those wondering the legibility of the list, its offical, the list shows the military power not the technology in military. South korea, japan has been recently increasing their military budget, also south korea has a mandatory military training, so thier reserve personnel can be increased by a huge margin in case of war. Also defense manufacture of south korea is good also. But the main problem is that france, UK has a nuclear weapons

India's soldiers are stronger than rank 3 China's soldiers.. but the real truth is India lack quantity over weapons.. if it weren't for weapons,and nuclear weapons,India's individual military strength would have been rank 1 or 2 .. cause, Billions of people apply for army, but only a few of them are choosen.. India's soldier quality is one of the best .. and training is the hardest... If you don't believe try then try searching the training they had to do in different branches like Indian airforce, para SF (special force), COBRA, NSG, etc ... But they will show you 10% of their strength, cause it's military secrets .. no one knows what they do...but I can say it, it's too much.. even a normal person can't take it.. and our best force is "MARCOS"

What does it matter if India or South Korea is more militarily stronger? It's not as if they are going to fight each other. India has different enemies it needs to defend against and so does South Korea. This is a totally unnecessary comparison. I doubt if even the military planners in both countries do this.
