Ive had pneumonia before and it SUCKS. That said, its better to get up and walk around (if you can) . It breaks up that mucus and helps you cough it out. Breathing treatments at the ER and a puffer help too. God bless Bill. Hope you feel better soon.

Hey Billy they got a Purge kit that you can plug it in that is solid for Tig welding. The other end will have plug so you can put it in a screw in fitting to fit a hose. So you can fill the pipe up with argon so it can be welded on the inside while you are welding on the outside at same time.

CUTTING THE LOWER A-ARM, Had a similar clearance problem in some S-10s I did for their off-road program. I cut the rear a-arm a couple of inches from the pivot and pulled it forward until I had about a 1.5" gap this moves your tire centerline forward about two inches [allowed us to run 35s] and plenty of exhaust clearance. It also increases our camber I run 10-12 degrees and in a short wheelbase, it is Mando. I then filled the gap with 4130 .125 chromoly with a .060 overlap. and with big camber it always wants to go straight. Just a thought, for any future projects you might have no one would ever know it was not stock, if you need more travel I used uni-balls [ball joints have no travel] and made a bracket so the cup and plated bolted-in the stock location and hid in with stock rubber boot. the tire actually fits better in the fender.

When welding a flange that close clamp another flange to it that's welded to a piece of pipe it'll let your purge flow across your weld and help keep the flange cooler .

I was really hoping to get a letter sent in to tell you guys merry Christmas and explain why I wanted this little s-10 so bad my grandfather passed away at 56 years old and the first thing I learned how to drive a stick in was his 1988 blue C/k 1500 he passed away when I was a younger teenager so unfortunately I didn’t have the money to purchase his truck at the time I searched for 15 years and still haven’t found that truck Fast forward a few more years and I got into some hard times and found myself sleeping in my 2001 blue S-10 back behind a local gas station. I have more connections with that little truck than I have anything I’ve owned since now I have a great career a beautiful family, and would love to make memories with my daughter like I did with my grandpa. I was in the middle of building a toy when my daughter was born. Unfortunately she had to be born emergency C-section and the medical bills just piled up so I had to let it go the sacrifices you make as a dad right long story short the little Truck will change my life and my family‘s life in ways that most people who follow your show probably wouldn’t understand, regardless congratulations to whoever wins merry Christmas to you your family and friends.
