Subaru flat battery deadlocked key doesn't turn cannot unlock open bonnet from outside

There seems to be an issue on modern Subaru's where the car can inadvertently remain deadlocked while the battery is flat. this video hopefully will help people to be able to access the engine bay to power up vehicle. open the bonnet from outside the vehicle via the grill.

On my vx Holden deadlock you just turn key as far as you can and hold it for a minute then reset buttons for alarm...Hi there.
