Hi Chris, with the damaged sill I would be cutting a replacement sill section from a wrecked car. Once the outer sill section is cut from your car where it is damaged, they will be able to get access to straighten the inner sill and the lower seam. Some people would try to pull that sill back out, I don't like their chances as there will be no strength in material. Keep up the good work. Mark

Looking good mate, disappointing about the hidden damage but you’ll get it sorted. I worked on tons of GC8’s when I was a Subaru Master Tech in the early 2000’s. Still my favourite body shape. 👍

My GC8 had aeroguards when I bought it 17 years ago. I took them off because I thought they were a bit of a grandpa item like mud flaps. I still have them. After watching your vid and now realising that they are cool, I'll probably put them back on!

I ordered the splashes with my MY99 that I bought new, and when I sold that to buy a '98 model in 2001, the next one had to have them. Not sure they were too popular back in the day but I always loved them. Sold the '98 in 2010 and bought it back in 2022. I need a new antenna as well for the same reason 🤣

Nice mate.. Aerial split yeah true all GC8 have them. Whenever I pull cables through I always use a draw sting tied on the end so I can re feed new cable through. Boot decal looks good , I put one on I got custom made by Boxer Beauty who does all sticker for GC8.

The pod/mudflap thingies are called aero splashes, assuming you found them already but they're under the accessory section in OEM part catalogs, P/Ns are J1017FA013 to 017 (front right, left, rear right, left in that order)

I have applied similar decals on my evo 8 (OEM Recaro window stickers) and after a little bit all those bubbles disappeared. I would imagine the same will happen to you.
