THANKS! Somehow 2 doors were programmed on the same button. One would go up while the other one goes down. You showed how to deprogram the button. Worked great on my 2018 Subaru Outback.😄

Just traded in my 2022 and the unprogram worked great. Just programmed my 2024 for my garage door.

Greetings. I just bought my first Subaru in my life (ascent 2021) it is used but in very good condition. I tried to program the seat and the mirrors but only the seats were programmed. The rearview mirrors never adjusted. It doesn’t matter how many times I try, one way or another. When I bought it a week ago they worked perfectly but for the previous owner. I did a factory reset to configure everything my way and from there onwards everything works 100% except the mirrors do not move when I press seat 1 or 2. Could you help me with this? Thank you very much.

Thanks for this useful video. Would the unprogram process erase the programming on all buttons (1st and 2nd)? Or do you need to repeat the process with the second button to erase the access programmed for that button?

Can you tell me what the symbol of the car in between lines to the left of the speedometer makes a loud dining (not like over the line alert) but louder and then the word OFF appears?

I’ve not seen this in my wrx yet, but I know my owners manual goes over a ton of symbols. I’d recommend checking there or asking your local dealership.

Sounds like it could be the "hill assist" indicator, but what Embrace said, I would consult the owners manual, dealer, or a forum with some supporting pics for additional help just to be sure.

Honestly I'm not 100% sure. I know you can reprogram over a single button, but I never looked into trying to clear out 1 spot at a time.

That's an odd one, perhaps the garage opener is just low on battery? The homelink just copies the signal, so no damage should have to the original device you're riding off of.

If the opener inside the garage sends a wireless signal I'm sure you could also use that signal, but you would need another person to press and hold that long enough for your vehicles receiver to pick it up.

Sorry about that, I'm a pretty simple "youtuber" when it comes to production. Honestly I intentionally "one-take" videos just to get the information out there without taking out too much of my personal time for my family, etc.
