Fantastic!! I am just putting in new CV joints. Part cross referencing will help me rebuild the ones I pulled out. I hunt after market when I have time. Which never happens. Thanks for your effort. I am reworking my entire front end painting and undercoating as I go. I love the truck . But finding people with experience working on them is not possible in my area. So. Thanks again for your effort. I am slowly, getting to really know my Sambar. Especially with gas prices.

That is a snap ring that holds the joint on. Use snap ring tool for removal.

Do you know if this same aftermarket part would fit a 1991 sambar ks4?

You forgot to mention the roll pin you have to punch out on the input side of the CV shaft, and also the circlip on the end of the splines on the main part of the shaft inside the bearing assembly. Not that you can really do anything about that second one

Great video but how did you get the end piece back on? Did you have to hit it in? Did it just go back on? You had to reshape that clip so how did you get it over that clip?
