Reason I asked I just had a head gasket replaced and mechanic put it all back together and while we were on life we started the engine to get it warm and belt jumped off and shut down, luckily no damage was done, so I bought a timing kit and I'm wondering if he even knows if your suppose to bleed the tensioner or not.

You don't bleed the tensioner. You want to keep the fluid in there. As seen in the video, you just install the new one, torque it, and pull the pin once you know everything is set right. Did you do a leak down check to check for bent valves after the timing belt came off?

Good video where you get the aisin kit? Any recommendations?

Sometimes you can get them off rockauto. Summit racing can have them too and sometimes on eBay stores. I know some are on amazon but I would be cautious of buying anything off amazon. I've come to learn that many good parts of various types are being counterfeited and sold on amazon. This doesn't mean you cant get the real deal off amazon but I would be cautious. I think AISIN has there own amazon store front page so it should be safe to buy them from there.

Does the tensioner need bleed before putting a new one in? And if you don't bleed it what could happen?

The tensioner comes preloaded in the kit. So all you do is remove the old one and put the new one on. Once everything checks out, you pull the pin and that's it. You don't bleed the tensioner at all.
