By earth’s standards, he’s actually super well built and has been since volume 1 (not to mention he has gotten physically stronger since). But throwing anyone from earth into 90% of any fights in an anime would have them get absolutely folded. People also seem to forget that Subaru plays a support/leader/strategist role and is very strong at doing that.
