I took delivery of my 2004 STI in June of 2003 in Virginia. She was my "Homologation Special" dream come true in World Rally Blue Pearl, and gold. I remember practicing great restraint as I gently broke her in one weekend on the wet, and twisty roads of West Virginia. We are still together today, and after 143000 miles, she still puts a smile on my face every time she goes into boost.

I got the first STI in the midwest back on 5/20/2003. I still own it, drive it every day, and love it. It's hard to believe it's been over 10 years now. I have no plans to sell it any time soon.

thginKxelA I only have about 84k. The first 10 months I owned it I put about 17k miles on it commuting to work, then I moved and only had about a 3 mile commute. There was also a year where I traveled for work and only drove it on the weekends.

@@tomsl5168 lol Headgaskets was not an issue with the turbo models ;) Its the cast pistons ringlands that CAN be an issue. Rod bearings was not a big issue as well in those years..

Hunter Adams That's what I plan on doing hahaha. My advice to anyone is to take advantage of being on your parent's insurance to get that discount. I was quoted $550 for my 06 n/a Legacy sedan for full coverage... I only pay a hundred since I'm on my parent's.

Finding a stock 2004 STi is like finding a unicorn. Sadly, most of these cars were stolen, wrecked, and tuned to hell by boy racers. After the 22B, the 2004 STi is my second favorite STi of all time.

Dude you are right, Latest car looks more like a family Grocery getter than ever! Nothing sharp, menacing about it by any means! They really failed to recognize the rally bred Race inspiration. WHy not bring an RS STI Coupe back with a wide body, 350-400WHP and call it a day! This is why i sold my 05 and 07 STI and stepped into a C6 Z06. Thanks ShitBuru!
