I have the same car 2020 subaru wrx put my car in gear to test it did the remote start and my car pulled forward while trying to start so pushed the clutch in quickly and it still fired up

Which viper setup is the one you used? Don’t want to have my local installer do it. I’m fairly competent so installing shouldn’t be a huge deal, but can’t find much info on which unit to purchase or where I can purchase it from

They probably don’t wanna give out their secrets, but yes, that is how you do it. I did this on my older WRX.

My fiancé got this installed on my 15 STI, and once I'm in the car (it's remote started) and go to shift into gear, the car shuts off... keys are inside the car. I did it just like this video, and everytime is turns off as soon as I either hit the break or release the ebrake. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Everything else about it works great

Yes it stays running when it's time to leave and you have the vehicles key in the vehicle

It didn't look like you set it in Reservation mode before starting it. Is Reservation mode something you can bypass?

These aren't set up for reservation, if your current unit is set up with reservation mode don't bypass it
