What's all needed to install a remote start on my 2013 Impreza, no navigation, key start, manual transmission.

When placing the vehicle in reservation mode, how long will the vehicle run before shutting off if I do not press the lock button? When it shuts down on its own, will it be in reservation mode or will reservation be canceled?
